Alright, let’s talk about this documentary I watched recently. It’s called “Arnold Cuyler Chasity West,” and it’s on Netflix. I stumbled upon it the other day while I was just browsing, looking for something interesting to watch.
So, I started watching it. The story begins with Tammi and Arnold Cuyler, who got married back in 1989. They had a kid, a little boy named Jarrell. They needed a babysitter, so they brought in Tammi’s cousin, Chasity West. She was only 21 at the time.
I kept watching, and things started to get messy. It turns out that Chasity and Arnold, who was Tammi’s ex-husband, started having an affair. I mean, what a tangled web, right?
The documentary then took a dark turn. In 2005, I saw that the State Supreme Court decided not to overturn Chasity West’s convictions, which included a capital felony. That’s when I realized this was going to be a heavy story.
The documentary uses a title, “The Hand That Rocks The Cradle”. I watched interviews with Arnold, Chasity’s family, and even some of their close friends. The police were involved too. The whole thing got really intense.
This affair led to something horrible. I saw that Chasity West attacked Arnold Cuyler’s kids with a box cutter. It was tough to watch, honestly. The documentary talks about where Chasity West is now, and it’s mentioned in the “Twisted Love” series, I think.
They had a lot of interviews in this documentary. They talked to Arnold, to Chasity’s family, and to close friends. The cops were there, too. It was a lot to take in, all these different perspectives on what happened.
Anyway, that’s the gist of it. It was a wild ride, watching this documentary. It’s definitely not something I’d watch again, but it was an experience. I just felt like sharing my thoughts on it. It’s crazy how real life can be so much more twisted than fiction.
