Now, I ain’t one for them fancy shows, but my grandson, he’s all into these games. Baldur’s Gate 3, he plays it all the time. Says it’s real good, lots of adventure and fightin’ and whatnot. Sounds like a hoot, but I wouldn’t know. I’m more of a bingo gal myself.
But this Netflix, they made that Witcher show. And lemme tell ya, people ain’t happy. They say it ain’t like the game. This Netflix Baldur’s Gate 3 thing, it’s gonna be the same, I bet. They’ll change it all up, make it all different. Ain’t nobody gonna like it.

This ain’t the first time they done this, you know. They made other shows, from games. That Cowboy Bebop thing, they did that. And folks didn’t like that one either. These Netflix folks, they don’t know nothin’ ’bout games. Netflix and video games, it just don’t mix, like oil and water.
My grandson, he says there’s other places that could make it. HBO, he says. Or Apple. Sounds like fruits to me, but what do I know? He says they’d do it right. Keep it like the game. Make it good, you know?
This game, Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s a big deal. Lots of people play it. They love it. They been playin’ it since, when was it, October? 2020, I think. Then they made it even bigger this year. August, I believe. They got it on them PlayStations and all sorts of things. Even Macs. Whatever those are.

What they love. They mess with the story of Baldur’s Gate 3 Netflix won’t be popular. I heard it’s a long game, so maybe the show needs to be long, too. Many seasons, my grandson says.
But Netflix, they ain’t listenin’. They gonna do what they want. And it’s gonna be a mess. Just like that Witcher thing. A darn shame, it is. They got a good thing here, this Baldur’s Gate 3. And they gonna ruin it. Mark my words.
