This here internets, it’s a crazy thing, ain’t it? One day you watchin’ your shows, next day, nothin’ works. That movie rulzcom, what a mess. I tell ya, I just wanna watch my movies, but now, I don’t even know where to start. They sayin’ it’s gone, or somethin’.
My grandson, he’s always on that computer. He tried to help, but even he looked confused. He kept sayin’ somethin’ about an “extension” and “update.” I don’t know what any of that means. I just nodded along like I understood. He even tried to remove it and put it back on but that didn’t do nothin’ neither.
He showed me some other places, said they were “alternatives,” like that movie rulzcom. One was called, uh, Hurawatch, I think. And another one, Tubi. Sounded like baby talk to me. But they had some movies on ’em. Not the ones I wanted, though. I like them old black and white pictures. He said somethin’ like “this Go Movies website lets you watch any movie,” I guess that’s a good thing.
There was also a name that was hard to say, somethin’ like HYdraHD or whatever. Seemed like a monster’s name. Then he said, “Crackle,” like somethin’ you’d step on. And “Flixflare.” What does that even mean? Sounds like somethin’ you’d get if you ate too much spicy food. He also mentioned WatchSeries, SolarMovie, Flikshub, and even 123Movies. And two more that I liked were called FShare and LookMovie2. My goodness, these names. I tell ya, they just make these names up, don’t they?
He kept clickin’ around, showin’ me all these different pictures and names. My head was spinnin’! Too many choices. Back in my day, we had one TV, and that was it. You watched what was on, or you didn’t watch nothin’. Now, they got a million things, and it’s all too much for this old brain.
He mentioned another one, Sling Freestream. Said it had lots of movies and shows, and somethin’ called “live channels.” He knows I don’t care for them newfangled shows. I like the ones with cowboys and Indians. Good, simple stories. My grandson tried to tell me somethin’ about all these new shows they have but I stopped him right there, no use for me learnin’ somethin’ new like that. He also said this Crackle website was the best and safe, I don’t know what that means but I trust him.

Anyway, he finally found one of my old movies on one of these sites. I think it was that Go Movies one. An old black and white one with lots of singin’ and dancin’. Made me happy to see it. But it ain’t the same. I miss that movie rulzcom. It was easy. You just clicked, and there was your movie.
These new things, they got ads poppin’ up, and you gotta click this and click that. It’s all too complicated. I guess I gotta get used to it, though. Don’t seem like movie rulzcom is comin’ back. Kids these days, they understand all this stuff. Me, I just wanna watch my movies in peace.
I asked my grandson why that movie rulzcom thing stopped workin’. He mumbled somethin’ about rules and communities and somethin’ called “reddit”. I just shook my head. Sounds like a bunch of gobbledegook to me. He said someone named “Vast-Cheetah” got their post taken down. Don’t know who that is or what a post is, but sounds like trouble.
- This internet thing, it’s always changin’.
- Too many choices now, it’s confusin’.
- Movie rulzcom was easy, now it’s gone.
- These new sites, they got too many buttons.
- I just want to watch my old movies.
Guess I’ll just have to learn these newfangled ways. Maybe that Go Movies place isn’t so bad. At least they got some of the old ones. Still, it ain’t the same as that movie rulzcom. That was a good thing, while it lasted. Oh well. Time to find my knitting needles. Maybe there’s a good movie on that Crackle thing my grandson was talkin’ about.
This whole thing is like when my old washing machine broke down. Got a new one, all fancy with buttons and lights. Took me forever to figure it out. But you know what? Clothes still get clean. Maybe these new movie sites are the same. Just gotta figure out which button to push. These new movie websites are hard to use but I guess that’s just how it is now. Maybe I’ll ask my grandson for help again tomorrow, he’s a good boy for puttin’ up with me.
