Well, howdy there! Today, we’re gonna yak about somethin’ kinda spooky – them horror movie wallets. You know, the kind with all them creepy crawly pictures on ’em. My grandkids, they love that stuff. Me? Not so much. Scared the bejesus outta me, but hey, young folks like what they like.
First off, what in tarnation is a horror movie wallet anyway? It ain’t nothin’ fancy, just a regular ol’ wallet with pictures from them scary movies. You got yer Chucky, that creepy doll, and yer Jason from Friday the 13th, always wearin’ that hockey mask. And don’t forget about that fella, Freddy Krueger, with them knives for fingers. Gives me the shivers just thinkin’ about it!
Now, where do you go about findin’ these here horror movie wallets? Well, seems like they’re everywhere these days. You can find ’em online, on them computery things. My grandson, he’s always clickin’ away on that “Amazon” thing. Says they got all sorts of stuff, even these spooky wallets. And I hear tell there’s stores, like that “Walmart” place, where they sell DVDs and such. Maybe they got wallets too. And them “FYE” stores, they got all kinds of weird stuff, so they might have ’em too.
But why, oh why, would anyone want a horror movie wallet? Like I said, my grandkids love that spooky stuff. They say it’s fun, gets their blood pumpin’. Guess it’s like ridin’ them rollercoasters, makes yer heart jump but you ain’t really in danger. And some folks, they just like collectin’ things. Like my sister, bless her heart, she collects them little porcelain dolls. Creepy lookin’ things, if you ask me, but she loves ’em. So, I guess it’s the same with these wallets. People see ’em, they like the pictures, and they wanna add ’em to their collection.
And let me tell you, there are a lot of different kinds. You got yer leather ones, yer canvas ones, even some made outta that plasticky stuff. And the pictures, oh my! They got everything from them classic monsters, like Dracula and Frankenstein, to them newer fellas, like that fella from Scream, always wearin’ that ghost mask.
- Leather Wallets: These are the fancy ones, I reckon. They last a long time, but they cost a pretty penny.
- Canvas Wallets: These ain’t as fancy, but they’re cheaper. And they come in all sorts of colors and designs.
- Plastic Wallets: These are the cheapest of the bunch, and they’re good if you’re worried about gettin’ ’em wet or dirty.
Now, if you’re lookin’ to buy a horror movie wallet for someone, you gotta think about what they like. Do they like them old-timey monsters, or them newer slashers? Do they like things that are gory and bloody, or somethin’ a little more subtle? And don’t forget to check the size. Some wallets are big and bulky, while others are small and slim. You want to make sure it’ll fit in their pocket, or their purse, or wherever they keep their money.
And speaking of money, how much do these things cost? Well, it depends. Like I said, the leather ones are more expensive, while the plastic ones are cheaper. And if you’re buyin’ somethin’ that’s a limited edition, or somethin’ that’s signed by someone famous, well, you’re gonna pay more. But you can find ’em for just about any price, from a few dollars to a hundred or more.
So, are these horror movie wallets worth the money? Well, that depends on who you ask. If you’re a fan of horror movies, and you like havin’ somethin’ to show off your love for them, then yeah, I guess they’re worth it. But if you’re like me, and you get scared easy, well, maybe you’d be better off with a nice, plain wallet. No creepy crawlies on it, just a place to keep your cash and your cards.
But hey, to each their own, I always say. If it makes you happy, go for it. Just don’t come showin’ it to me, ’cause I might just jump outta my skin!
And if you’re lookin’ for a gift for a horror movie fan, well, a wallet ain’t a bad idea. But there are other things too. Like them dolls, the creepy ones I was talkin’ about. Or them posters, with the bloody pictures on ’em. Or even just a stack of them horror movies on DVD. Plenty of ways to give someone a good scare, if that’s what they’re into.
