Okay, so I wanted to find some movies that gave me the same vibes as “The Devil’s Advocate.” You know, that creepy, unsettling feeling with a bit of a supernatural twist. Here’s how I went about it.
First, I brainstormed what I liked about “The Devil’s Advocate.” I came up with:
- The whole lawyer-selling-his-soul thing.
- The dark, almost gothic atmosphere.
- Al Pacino being, well, Al Pacino.
- The feeling that something just wasn’t right.
Diving into the Search
So I fired up my trusty search engine. I’m not gonna lie, I just started with simple searches. I typed in things like “movies similar to Devil’s Advocate” and “films with demonic themes.” Super basic, I know.
From there, I started to see some common suggestions pop up. Names like “Rosemary’s Baby,” “The Omen,” and “Angel Heart.” I jotted down any that looked interesting or that I hadn’t seen before. This part was kind of a mess, just a big list of potential movies.
Next, I started looking into each movie individually. I checked out some brief summaries. Some of them, I immediately dismissed. Like, if it was just straight-up horror, I wasn’t really interested. I wanted that subtle creepiness, not just jump scares.
Refining the List
I narrowed it down based on those mini-reviews. And then, I looked up the audience reviews and ratings. You can usually get a good feel for a movie from what other people are saying, right?

Finally, I ended up with a handful of movies that seemed to fit the bill. They weren’t all perfect matches, of course, but they all had elements that reminded me of “The Devil’s Advocate.”
I’ve created a table for my result, so I can choose any movie that I wanna watch depend on my mood!
So yeah, that’s my process. Nothing fancy, just some good old-fashioned searching and list-making. It worked pretty well, though! I’ve got some good movies to add to my watchlist now.
