Alright, so you wanna know about this movie theater thing in New London, huh? Well, let me tell ya, I don’t know much about fancy stuff, but I can tell ya what I heard around the way.

First off, they got a whole bunch of them theaters. Some big, some small, I reckon. Heard tell of places like Regal Waterford and Mystic Luxury Cinemas. Sounds mighty fancy, don’t it? They even got somethin’ called Garde Arts Center. Don’t ask me what that is, sounds like a place for them highfalutin folks. And then there’s Mohegan Sun, they got theaters too, or so I hear.

Now, if you wanna go see a movie, you gotta find the showtimes, right? Folks say you can use this thing called Fandango. Sounds like a made-up word to me, but they say it tells ya when the movies are playin’ and where. You just gotta punch in that zip code thingy, 06320, for New London, and it’ll show ya everything.

  • Showtimes: That’s when the movies start, ya know. Don’t wanna be late!
  • Tickets: Gotta pay to get in, that’s just how it is.
  • Theaters: The place where you watch the movie, like a big TV room but with more people.

They play all sorts of movies, new ones and old ones too, I guess. Some folks like them action movies, all shootin’ and bangin’. Others like them lovey-dovey stories. Me? I just like a good laugh, somethin’ that makes you forget your troubles for a while. I heard about a movie called Wicked, supposed to be somethin’ special. Folks are talkin’ about it. And somethin’ else called Red One, sounds like a cowboy movie to me.

Now, if you’re gonna go, you wanna get a good seat, right? Folks say the best seat is right in the middle, not too close, not too far. Just right. Like Goldilocks and the three bears, ya know? And they say it’s best to go on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday if you don’t like crowds. Weekends are busy, everyone and their brother wanna see a movie then.

Finding the right theater ain’t too hard, they say. They got maps and phone numbers and all that. Just gotta look it up, I guess. Or ask someone who knows. Maybe that Fandango thing can help with that too. I wouldn’t know, I ain’t never used it.

And speaking of seats, they say you count two-thirds from the front of the room. That’s how them smart folks figure it out, seems like a lot of work just to sit down to me! But they also said that startin’ from row 1. So I don’t really get it, but that’s what they said.

So there you have it, that’s all I know about the movie theaters in New London. It ain’t much, but it’s honest. Now you go on and enjoy your movie, and don’t forget the popcorn! Just don’t make too much noise, nobody likes a chatterbox when the movie’s playin’.

Oh, and one more thing, I heard somethin’ about theaters in other places too, like Holiday Stadium 10 Cinemas, and AMC Plainville 20. But those ain’t in New London, so I guess you don’t care about them. Just stickin’ to what ya asked, ya see.

Anyway, have fun at the movies! And don’t forget to tell me all about it when you get back. I like a good story, even if it ain’t on the big screen.
