This November, oh boy, it’s gettin’ cold, and you know what that means? Time to huddle up inside and watch them scary movies! Lots of folks like them scary movies. And you can find those movies on that Netflix thing, they say. But what are the movies that I should see in this November? This is a big problem for me. I asked my neighbor’s boy and he told me something, let’s talk about it.
Now, I ain’t one for those fancy movie words, but I do like a good scare. And there’s a bunch of horror movies comin’ out this November. This is what I hear. I like being scared, makes me feel alive, ya know?
First one my neighbor’s boy told me about, he said, called His House. It’s about some folks, Bol and Rial, they run from somewhere called South, I don’t know where that is. They say it’s real scary. They got troubles, big troubles, sound like. Maybe it’s good, maybe it ain’t, but it’s a horror movie, that’s for sure. This one sounds like it might make ya think, though. I just want a good scare, not too much thinkin’.
Then there’s this list, they say, 15 horror movies you shouldn’t watch by your lonesome. Fifteen! That’s a whole lot of scary. They got all them movies on that Netflix. Everybody’s watchin’ Netflix these days. My grandkids, they’re always on that thing. I saw it once, lots of choices. Too many, maybe.
- Scream, they say. That’s a big one. Some girl, her mama got killed, real sad. Then a year goes by, and somethin’ bad starts happenin’ again. Sounds like a real mess. That’s a horror movie, all right. Lots of folks talk about that one.
- That Ring movie. Oh, that one gave me the willies! Some tape, you watch it, and then seven days later, somethin’ bad happens. That’s just plain mean, ain’t it? That’s a Japanese horror movie, they say, but they made an American one too. That girl comin’ out of the TV, oh lord! I couldn’t sleep for a week after seein’ that. Don’t watch it alone, they said. I didn’t!
They say some of them horror movies is even scarier when you’re alone. Makes you feel all isolated, like you’re right there in the movie. That sounds awful! I always watch with my old cat, Mittens. She don’t care for them scary movies, but she keeps me company.
November is a good time for these movies, though. It is cold and dark. That makes everything feel more spooky. Like somethin’ could be out there in the dark, watchin’ ya.
I heard about that, The Ring. That’s a scary one. That girl crawling out of the TV. That ain’t right. I heard that is about some tape, you watch it and you die. That is too scary. That is a horror movie I don’t want to watch alone. Nope. I don’t even want to watch it with someone else.
There’s so many horror movies out there. It’s hard to pick just one. But this November, there’s gonna be a bunch. And if you like bein’ scared, then you got a lot to choose from. Just make sure you got someone to watch with ya, or at least a good cat. You don’t want to be alone with them spooks and scares!
I don’t know about all these newfangled ways of watchin’ movies. But I do know a good scare when I see one. And these November horror movies, they sound like they’re gonna be a real doozy. So get your popcorn, get your blanket, and get ready to be scared!
I remember one time, I watched a horror movie, and it had a monster in it. A real big one. And it chased these people all over the place. I was jumpin’ and yellin’ at the TV. My husband, bless his soul, he just laughed at me. Said I was gettin’ too worked up. But it was scary!
So this November, you be careful what you watch. Them horror movies, they can get ya. They can make ya jump and scream and maybe even lose a little sleep. But ain’t that what it’s all about? A good scare now and then, it’s good for the soul, I reckon. Just don’t watch ’em alone! You hear me? Don’t say I didn’t warn ya!
There are many horror movies in this November. I think I will watch some with my old cat. Maybe I will ask my neighbor to join me. It is too scary to watch it alone. I hope you can find some good horror movies to watch. And remember, don’t watch it alone, it is not good. Be safe!
