Amazon Prime Day‘s first-ever four-day event may be over, but there are a handful of deals that have rolled into the weekend.
Typically a two-day event, Amazon Prime Day 2025 ended July 11 and featured up to 30 percent off Amazon brands, up to 50 percent off at Amazon Luxury Stores and 20 percent off pre-loved designer bags, among other deals. The summer savings event came as shoppers are pulling back on non-essential shopping amid uncertainty over the economy due to President Donald Trump’s tariffs. Amazon’s expansion to a four-day sale appears to be the e-commerce giant’s strategy to increase sales with an additional 48 hours of flash sales and exclusive deals.

Historically, Amazon’s major summer sale is one of the best times to save on small- and big-ticket electronics, such as the company’s lineup of Fire TVs and tablets, Kindle e-readers, Blink home security cameras, Ring video doorbells, Eero 6+ mesh Wi-Fi systems and more. This year, Amazon says it will offer some of its “lowest prices of the year so far from top brands like Sony, Dyson and Living Proof, along with deals from exciting new-to-Amazon brands like Unwell Hydration, Tarte Cosmetics and Away.”
Shoppers took advantage of major markdowns on beauty devices (such as LED face masks and skin care tools), designer fashion, premium skin care and makeup, K-beauty, Criterion Collection box sets, Samsung Frame TVs (and affordable alternatives), Apple AirTags and AirPods, and more. There are also deals on items loved by Hollywood glam squad pros and stars like Sofia Richie Grainge.
NBA superstar LeBron James stars in the ad campaign for this year’s event; the icon recently debuted his grooming brand, The Shop, which was on sale for up to nearly 40 percent off for Prime Day.

Amazon Prime Day 2025 started on Tuesday, July 8, at 12:01 a.m. PT, and ended on Friday, July 11. It marks the first time the e-commerce giant’s sale event has spanned more than two days.

Amazon usually announces the dates of Prime Day in June. For the first time in the event’s history, the sale was extended to four days — double its usual run. Amazon typically begins the deal event on the second Tuesday in July; in 2026, we expect it to start on July 7. Stay tuned for more details.
How to Earn Shopping Credits for Amazon Prime Day 2026
In past years, Amazon offered Prime members up to a $200 gift card instantly upon approval for the Prime Visa credit card. Do You Need to Be a Prime Member to Shop Amazon Prime Day?
In short, yes. As the name suggests, Prime Day is Amazon’s exclusive savings event exclusively for Prime members, so you’ll want to sign up for a membership before you start shopping. The good news: Amazon has a 30-day free trial so you can test out a subscription before you commit. Subscriptions auto-renew at $14.99 per month or $139 per year.
If you’re a student or between the ages of 18 to 24, you can try the Prime Young Adults membership free for six months; after that, pay only $7.49 monthly or $69 annually. Prime for Young Adults offers all of the same benefits as the standard Prime membership, plus 5 percent cash back every day on categories such as beauty, apparel, electronics and more.
While some deals will be made available to all Amazon shoppers, the best Prime Day discounts are reserved for Prime members.
Amazon Prime Day 2025: Best Early Deals for Prime Members
Prime members enjoyed exclusive deals with Amazon partners ahead of Prime Day, and you can expect similar promos for the 2026 event. Perks included $10 off on Grubhub+ delivery orders of $20 or more, early access deals on products from select small businesses, up to 30 percent off in-house brands Amazon Basics and Amazon Essentials, fuel savings at select gas stations and up to 30 percent off base rates for rentals on Avis cars through Amazon.
