Blood & Oil (Oloibiri) – When commercial-grade oil was discovered in the small village of Oloibiri, Nigeria, prosperity and employment became their way of life. Two decades after the last drops were drilled and the US oil companies abandoned them, all the village was left with was polluted water, sick children, and an unstable economy. When a new multinational corporation strikes oil again, rage intensifies and Nigerian militants, led by a hardened killer named Gunpowder (Richard Mofe-Damijo), seek revenge on the greedy foreigners by kidnapping Powell, (William R. Moses) the company’s CEO. Families become divided as the village elder, Timpriye (Olu Jacobs) struggles with saving the life of this man who represents all the evils that oil brought to his village so many years ago.

  1. Thank you so much for this movie.

It really makes me sick angry but we need more of these to tell the real stories. Our side of the stories.

    We need to know.😠

  2. This movie makes me Cry because this what i wanted to always fight for my people knowing fully well that all the fighters turned their backs.. and the ones that really fight the people got kill because of they don't want quite

  3. My own country betrayed us , we people trusted our persons in power, not to steal oil or minerals from another country but to aid another country in the knowledge to retrieve such things from beneath their lands to enhance their livelihoods, the lands their natives lived on. I am ashamed of the U.S. Administrators that promoted much war, devastation and control over innocent people worldwide including our own who bear the destruction who live in poverty because of greedy people in power. Organized Crime. The Great Awakening is at hand, overcoming evil doers.

  4. Our African leaders have destroyed our land because of greed, they helped colonizers and now when we traveled to their countries they outcasts us forgetting its our minerals ja neh 😢

  5. This movie is incomparable. I must commend whoever that was behind its genius. I rarely watch action movies but this one blew me off. I have anxiously, curiously and patiently watched every bit of action. It is a great movie for sure.

  6. This is unfortunately another example of a country being exploited for their natural resources.
    What a tragedy 🙏

  7. a powerful true story well portrayed and factual. and heartbreaking truth. corporations dont give a crap about anyone or anything, and sadly their greed does trickle down and corrupt local leaders and a few citizens who have eyes on getting that big money. thank you for broadcasting this important film for us. ❤️😔

  8. Wow what a movie that was.
Thanks again for a great pick and sharing with us Movie Central<><><><><><><><><><>links on my rating chain

  9. Great movie, it just shows you the exploitation of people's countries and have people fighting each other Uber money and gold and all type of c***Thanks to the westernized people. But they're again, the local people are just as violent and evil too. This is why me? I'm gonna pay, I'm gonna pay tricks for no king and country. Good movie, real good movie.

  10. This movie shows the black people in this movie is just a movie, but it happens in real life for black people, or the f**** n**** are no different than the white man, pure evil Providence of destruction, and claim you're my brother or we work together. This is why I as a black man myself, I don't join nobody's group, Black Lives Matter or any type of group. You must think for yourself because no one's innocent in this. People are pure evil black, white, Indian, Chinese. All about clap capitalism and greed.

  11. Like I said, it shows you black people exploit each other. Just like the white man and Chinese exploit each other. It's human nature to be cruel to each other. No one is innocent in this. No one. The white man nor the black man or anyone else.

  12. Greed knows no face. The white people and Chinese that come to explore to Africa are not the only guilty ones there. The black people there are guilty. Also, there's no innocent people there. The innocent people are the wife and kids and small people of that country. It's a great powerful movie exploitation about greed and oil and money. And capitalism

  13. This proves the point black people have been exploited by other black people, not just white people, this nonsense, especially America, black Americans want to assume that they're the ones suffering, black people are suffering under their own hands, this is living proof of that just like any other race.

  14. A powerful and expertly crafted film in terms of story, characters and filming. I think it also provides an understanding of the background of the current geopolitical situation which should be a concern to all of us as it relates to US foreign policy which is based on global domination and exploitation.

  15. I enjoyed this one very much. Good acting good script base on actual events. A tragic yet strangely beautiful film.

  16. Thank you for sharing this movie and letting me if no one else know the horrible things that have happened in the name of the almighty dollar.
