Just in time to root for the blue crew at this weekend’s World Series rematch games, the Los Angeles Dodgers are teaming up again with a fellow hometown hero.
Today at noon PT, streetwear label Born X Raised — the L.A.-based brand sported by Sza, Danny Trejo, YG, Winnie Harlow and others — drops another Dodgers collection with New Era that pays homage to the City of Angels. Available online at New Era, MLB Shop and BXR’s website, the L.A. Bleeds Blue capsule includes New Era 9Fifty snapbacks and fitted caps (including the official 2024 World Series hat); cotton tees, hoodies and sweaters; and a satin souvenir stadium jacket with an applique back.
Pieces are emblazoned with the Dodgers’ “L.A.” overlayed on BXR’s logo, while graphic tees and pullovers (available in white, black, blue or navy) feature the team ring or an exploded-view illustration of a pickup truck. Shirts come in an oversized fit; the brand recommends sizing down if you want a slimmer fit. The 25-plus-piece collection also includes beanies, foam fingers, an 18-inch bat, a lighter and a BXR-branded bag of peanuts.
The latest BXR x Dodgers collab is showcased in a campaign starring pitcher Kiké Hernández and Manila-bred musician Eyedress — fittingly days before the team’s Filipino Heritage Night against the New York Mets on June 3. It follows the L.A. team’s recent sold-out collabs with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.
Eagle-eyed fans will also want to stay posted on BXR’s Instagram, where they’ll be dropping scavenger hunt hints to hidden hats around L.A.
Jennifer Lawrence, Taika Waititi and Rita Ora were among the stars spotted in the stands at Dodger Stadium at the 2024 World Series. The L.A. team won 7-6 against the New York Yankees, marking their eighth title.
