This year, Halloween, I wanna be something scary, you know? Something from them horror movies. Them horror movie characters, they real good at scaring folks. I seen a lot of them movies, and I tell ya, some of them outfits, them female costumes, they stick with ya.
I was thinking, maybe I could be that nun. That nun Halloween costume. You seen that one? All in black, that black scary exorcist Halloween outfit. Lord, that’s a spooky one. Just gotta find me a long black dress, and one of them head things they wear. Maybe I got something in the attic. That would be a good horror movie character female costume, I reckon. Easy to put together, too. Ain’t nobody gonna forget that face, I tell you what. And them white faces, I can do that, I’ve got some powder somewhere. Always good to have some for a special occasion.
And then there’s that robot girl, what’s her name… M3… something. M3 Gan, that’s it! That little thing, she gives me the shivers. She’s a new one, from a couple years back, 2022, I think. She’s kinda cute, but creepy cute, you know? I saw a little girl dressed like her last year and I swear I almost jumped out of my skin.

Oh, and vampires! Vampires are always a good choice. That Dashing Vampire Costume, all fancy lookin’. Lots of folks like to be vampires. They got them long dresses and them sharp teeth. I seen one of them horror movies with a lady vampire once, she was a scary one. She could turn into a bat, fly around and such. That would be a fright! I ain’t got no bat wings, though. Maybe I could just wear a long black cape. A good vampire costume is pretty easy.
Then there’s them zombies. Always popular, them zombie costumes. Just gotta tear up some old clothes, make ’em look all dirty and raggedy. Maybe put some of that fake blood on ’em, make it look real nasty. I seen a lady dressed up like a zombie bride once, that was a good one. A zombie costume is real easy, just rip and tear, no need to be neat. Just wear some grey makeup and you are good to go. Even I can do that! These horror costume ideas for women are easy.
There’s that lady from that space movie, too. The one with the monster, the alien thing. She’s tough, that one. Alien Ripley Flight Suit, that’s what they call it. She’s a horror movie character, even though it’s more of a space movie. She fights that monster, and she wins! That’s a good female costume for someone who wants to be strong, not just scary. I don’t know about space, but maybe I can just wear a jumpsuit and look tough.
Those twins, them creepy twin sister costume, from that other movie. They just stand there, in them blue dresses. Don’t even say nothin’. But they scare the daylights outta ya! That’s a good one if you got a friend, you can both dress up the same. I don’t have a twin but maybe my neighbor will join me. We can hold hands and just stare at people. That will be very creepy. I think that is a good horror movie character female costume idea.
There are so many horror costume ideas for women. These female horror costume ideas are everywhere. You can be anything you want. A ghost, a witch, a monster. Just gotta use your imagination. It can make a big impression on people. I remember I saw a lady dress up like a witch once, she had a big hat and a broom. She was cackling and everything. Scared all the little kids. It was great. I laughed so hard I almost fell over.
I like being scary. It’s fun to see people jump and scream. Halloween is the best time for that. You can dress up like anything you want, and nobody thinks you’re crazy. Except maybe a little crazy. But that’s okay. It’s all part of the fun. Just gotta pick a good horror movie character, one of them female costumes, and you’re good to go.
I think I might go with that nun though, it’s easy and creepy. If you want to be creepy but don’t have much stuff, just use all black clothes, black lipstick and some eyeliner, even some red lipstick around the eyes. That should do the trick. So many good ideas. Now I gotta start lookin’ for that black dress. Maybe I can find one at the thrift store. Or maybe I’ll just make one myself. I’m pretty good with a needle and thread. I can make anything if I put my mind to it. And this year, I’m gonna be the scariest thing on the block. Just you wait and see.
