Well, I tell ya, them scary movies, they always give me the heebie-jeebies. But some folks just love ’em, can’t get enough of that spooky stuff. And wouldn’t ya know it, there’s a whole bunch of ’em that start with the letter “D.” Don’t ask me why, but that’s just how it is.
Now, I ain’t seen most of these myself, ’cause my heart just can’t take it. But I heard tell of some of ’em from the young’uns. They talk about this Damien: Omen II movie from way back in 1978. Said it wasn’t as good as the first one, but still gave folks the chills. Something about a creepy kid, if I remember right.

Then there’s this Dog Soldiers one from 2002. Heard it’s got werewolves in it. Big, hairy, scary ones, not like them cute little puppies you see in town. Folks say it’s one of the best werewolf movies out there, so if you like that sort of thing, go ahead and give it a watch. Just don’t blame me if you can’t sleep at night.

And wouldn’t you believe it, they even made a scary movie about a game! It’s called Truth or Dare, and it ain’t like the fun games we used to play as kids. This one’s got some kinda supernatural stuff going on, and if you don’t play by the rules, well, let’s just say bad things happen. Kids these days, they come up with the craziest things.
I remember someone mentioning a movie called The Dark Hours. Can’t say I know much about it, but the name alone sounds spooky, doesn’t it? Probably got some monsters or ghosts or somethin’ lurkin’ in the shadows. That’s what they always do in these movies, try to scare the pants off ya.
And then there’s Darkness Falls. Now, this one sounds like it might actually be scary. Something about a tooth fairy that ain’t so friendly. Imagine that! A tooth fairy that wants more than just your teeth. Gives me shivers just thinkin’ about it.
Oh, and let’s not forget The Descent. This one’s about a bunch of folks who go explorin’ caves and find more than they bargained for. Turns out, there’s some creepy crawly things livin’ down there, and they ain’t too happy about visitors. I tell ya, stay out of them caves! Nothin’ good ever comes from messin’ around in dark, damp places.
Dead Silence is another one I heard about. Something to do with puppets, I think. Now, puppets are creepy enough on their own, but a scary movie about ’em? No thank you! I’d rather stick to my old-fashioned dolls, thank you very much.
And then there’s Don’t Breathe. This one’s about some folks who try to rob a blind man’s house, but turns out he ain’t so helpless after all. In fact, he’s downright terrifying. Serves ’em right, I say. Shouldn’t go around stealin’ from folks, blind or not.
The Devil’s Rejects, that’s another one that gives me the creeps. Anything with “devil” in the title is bound to be trouble. And from what I hear, this one’s got plenty of it. Violence and mayhem and all sorts of nasty stuff. Not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure.
And finally, there’s The Dorm That Dripped Blood. Now, that just sounds messy, doesn’t it? I don’t know what it’s about, but I can imagine it’s got plenty of blood and gore. These youngsters, they sure do love that sort of thing. Me? I’d rather watch a good ol’ Western any day.
So there you have it, a whole bunch of scary movies that start with the letter “D.” Like I said, I ain’t seen most of ’em, but I’ve heard enough to know they’re not for me. But if you’re lookin’ for a good scare, well, you’ve got plenty to choose from. Just don’t blame me if you have nightmares!
