Now, I ain’t seen none of these myself, mind you. I seen that one with the devil in the girl. That one scare the pants off me! They call it “The Exorcist”. Old one, but still scary. They say that one is the scariest movie of all time. I believe it! That little girl, spinnin’ her head around… Lord have mercy!
They got all kinds of them horror movies. They say you can get ’em at the box or you can watch on that thing called VOD. You know, on that Internet thing, like Netflix. I don’t know nothing about that Netflix thing. The kids try to show me but I don’t understand it. My grandson told me there was a new one on Netflix. It was called “The Deliverance”. He said it was based on a true story about a family that got possessed by demons. My grandson always telling me these stories!
If you like them scary movies, seems like Redbox is the place to go. You can rent all the new horror movies from them. I saw a commercial, and it said they even got free ones! Can you believe it? Free! You don’t even have to sign in or nothin’. Just watch! They got all kinds, not just the scary ones. They got them funny ones, them ones with the people talkin’ and tellin’ jokes. They got them ones ’bout real life, what they call documentaries. Lots of stuff.
They even got the news and them sports things. They got somethin’ for the little ones, too. Lots of stuff for kids and families. I don’t know how they fit all that in that little red box! It’s like magic, I tell ya! Magic!

I remember back in my day, we didn’t have no Redbox. We had to go all the way to town to the picture show. And they only showed one movie! Now you got all these choices right there at your fingertips. It’s a different world, I tell ya. A different world.
My neighbor, she got one of them smart TVs. She can watch all kinds of things on it, I think she have that Redbox app on it, too. She said you can just download this Redbox thing, what do you call it…an app. Yes, that is it, an app! She said you download that Redbox app, and you can watch all them movies right there on your TV. I don’t know about all that, but these young ones like it. They say it is easy to use, and they like it.
They say Redbox is sendin’ thoughts and chills. Sounds spooky to me. They say they got the scariest movies to watch for free this month. Free! Can’t beat that, can ya? Free is always good. Lord knows I love free things. Don’t cost nothin’!
I heard them talkin’ ’bout some other scary movies, too. But I can’t rightly remember the names of ’em. There’s just so many! And they all got them scary names, too. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ ’bout ’em. But if you like that kind of thing, then you’ll be happy as a pig in slop with all them new horror movies Redbox got.
Just be careful watchin’ them things late at night. You might start seein’ things that ain’t there. And don’t you be watchin’ them alone, neither. You need someone there with ya, just in case. Safety in numbers, that’s what I always say.
