Dove Cameron is headlining a shoppable livestream concert event, “Everything Must Go,” Wells Fargo Credit Cards announced Monday.
The livestream’s set will feature personal memorable from Cameron, which fans be purchase in real-time through Shopify and watch the items being removed from the stage “even while they are in use,” according to a release. The proceeds from the show will benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
“I really feel strongly aligned with NAMI,” Cameron told The Hollywood Reporter about why she chose the mental health organization, adding she’s a huge fan of their work. “I’m a huge advocate for mental health in terms of awareness, resources for mental health, talking about and destigmatizing the taboo around mental health. This just felt like a really great way to sort of utilize what I’m doing at the moment.”
The 29-year-old plans to debut new music from her upcoming album, offering those watching the livestream the first listen at unreleased music – a component of the event Cameron said she’s “super excited” about. The singer and actor previously took a hiatus to prioritize her mental health but returned with a new single, “Too Much,” that was released last month.
“This is going to be the first time I’ve performed a lot of this music, and especially at this scale, which is very exciting for me and a little bit daunting. I’m in rehearsal almost every day, but it’s definitely something that I think fans are going to be interested in seeing,” she said.
“They can also expect to have the opportunity to own pieces of my music history, my personal history, my fashion history. It’s really exciting,” Cameron added. “I just feel really good that it’s bringing attention to National Alliance on Mental Illness because it’s something that I can never stop talking about [or] supporting enough.”
The concert will stream live on Cameron’s YouTube and Instagram platforms on April 3 at 5 p.m. pacific. As Wells Fargo Credit Cards is sponsoring the event, fans who use their Wells Fargo credit card to purchase items will receive it signed by Cameron.
