Alright, listen up, y’all. Gonna tell ya ’bout this here movie, “Elemental.” Now, I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’, just a regular person who went and saw it with my own two eyes.

First off, this movie, it’s real pretty. Lots of colors and things movin’ around. Like, they got these folks made of fire and water and stuff. It’s kinda neat to look at, I gotta say. Them Pixar folks, they sure know how to make things look nice.

But the story, well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag, you know? It’s about this fire girl and this water fella, and they fall for each other. Sounds simple enough, right? But then they gotta deal with their families and all that jazz. You know how families can be, always buttin’ in and causin’ trouble.

  • Now, some parts were real sweet. Made me think ’bout my own young’uns when they were courtin’.
  • But then other parts, they were kinda… well, I wouldn’t want my little grandbabies seein’ that. Some of that kissin’ and such, it’s a bit much for the young’uns.

They say it’s rated PG, but I tell ya, some of them jokes and things they were sayin’, I wouldn’t let my ten-year-old hear that back in the day. Times are different now, I guess. Parents gotta be careful, you know? Gotta watch out for what your kids are seein’ and hearin’. This movie, it ain’t all sunshine and rainbows, that’s for sure. There’s some scary parts too, with storms and floods and things. Might frighten the little ones.

Them water and fire folks, they got their own problems. Like, they can’t touch each other without gettin’ hurt or somethin’. It’s kinda like them Romeo and Juliet stories, you know? Love that’s forbidden and all that. But in this movie, they try to make it work, which is nice. Shows you that even if things are tough, you gotta fight for what you believe in, I guess.

And there’s this whole thing about fittin’ in. The fire folks, they live in their own little part of town, and the water folks live somewhere else. They don’t always get along. Reminds me of how things used to be ’round here, with the different neighborhoods and all. People always findin’ reasons to be different from each other. But in the end, this movie, it shows you that we’re all kinda the same, no matter where we come from or what we’re made of.

The actors, they do a good job. You can hear the feelings in their voices, even if they are just pretendin’ to be fire and water. And the music, it’s nice too. Sets the mood, you know? Makes you feel happy when they’re happy, and sad when they’re sad.

So, would I recommend this movie? Well, it depends. If you got little kids, maybe wait a bit. Let ’em grow up some before you show ’em this one. But if you got older kids, teenagers maybe, then yeah, it’s a good movie to watch together. It’ll give you somethin’ to talk about, that’s for sure. Just remember to keep an eye out for them parts that ain’t so kid-friendly. You gotta be a parent, you know? Gotta protect your young’uns from all the bad stuff out there.

Overall, “Elemental” is a pretty good movie. It ain’t perfect, but it’s got a good heart. And it makes you think about things, like love and family and fittin’ in. And that’s always a good thing, right? So go see it if you want, but don’t say I didn’t warn ya ’bout them parts that ain’t for the little ones. That’s all I gotta say ’bout that.
