Alright, let’s talk about them movies in Panama City. You know, the picture shows, the things they put on the big screen.

I ain’t too fancy, so I don’t know all them fancy names, but I can tell ya where to go see ’em. There’s this place, the Regal Regency over on 23rd Street. They got a whole bunch of movies playing, like, ten or somethin’. Can you believe that? Ten different stories all in one place. They even got that one about the pastor who was a spy, or somethin’. Sounds kinda wild, don’t it?

  • Regal Regency – 1515 W 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32406. Call ’em at 844-462-7342 if you get lost.

Then there’s that other place, the one at the Pier Park. That’s a busy spot, that Pier Park. Lots of folks goin’ in and out, eatin’ and shoppin’ and whatnot. They got movies there too, not as many as the Regal, maybe seven or so. But they got that pastor spy one too, must be a popular one.

  • The Grand Pier Park – 500 S Pier Park Dr., Panama City Beach, FL 32413. Call ’em at 850-233-4835 if you need directions. Heck, just ask someone, everybody knows where Pier Park is.

Now, there’s another one, called VIP PC Cinemas. This one’s on Martin Luther King Boulevard. Fancy name, huh? They got movies too, and they show you what time they’re playin’, like in the mornin’ and afternoon and all. They even got that new Moana movie, the second one. My grandkids love them Moana movies, all that singin’ and dancin’. And they got another one called Wicked, sounds kinda scary.

  • VIP PC Cinemas – 2150 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, Panama City, FL 32405. I don’t know their number, but you can probably find it online, if you’re good with that computer stuff.

So, you got choices, see? Regal, Pier Park, and VIP. All playin’ different movies, some the same. You just gotta pick which one’s closest to ya, or which one’s got the movie you wanna see. They even got websites where you can buy tickets ahead of time, like that Fandango thing. But I ain’t never used it, I just go to the theater and buy my ticket there. Old habits die hard, I guess.

Now, if you’re lookin’ for a real fancy movie experience, they got these big companies down in Panama, like Cinepolis and Cinemark. But I don’t know nothin’ about them. I stick to what I know, and that’s the theaters here in Panama City.

And don’t forget, if you’re near the beach, that Panama City Beach Strip is jumpin’. Lots of places to eat and things to do before or after your movie. Makes for a nice day out, don’t it? Watch a movie, get some grub, maybe walk on the beach. That’s my kinda day.

So, there you have it. All about them movies in Panama City. Not too hard to figure out, even for an old woman like me. Just pick your theater, pick your movie, and go have yourself a good time. And don’t forget the popcorn! Movies ain’t the same without popcorn, that’s for sure.

And if you’re wondering what kind of movies playin’, well, some are new ones, just came out, and some are older ones that been around awhile. They got cartoons for the kids, action movies for the fellas, and them love stories for the gals. Something for everyone, I reckon.

I heard tell you can even look up the movies and see what people think of ‘em, them ratings or somethin’. But I don’t pay no mind to that. I just go see what looks interestin’ to me. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don’t. That’s just the way it is with movies, ain’t it?

So, go on now, get yourself to the movies. Enjoy a little escape from the everyday. It’s good for the soul, I tell ya. And if you see me there, don’t be shy, say hello! I’ll be the one with the big bucket of popcorn, probably spillin’ it all over myself.
