Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout them movie spots in New York City. Ya know, the places where them fancy picture shows get made. They call it “new york movie locations map“, sounds all highfalutin, but it just means where they filmed stuff.

First off, ya got yer Central Park. Big ol’ park, right in the middle of the city. Seen it in a buncha movies, people walkin’, talkin’, sometimes even fightin’. It’s a good place for all sorts of things, I reckon. Lots of trees and grass, good for picnics too, if you ain’t got ants botherin’ ya.

Then there’s that Times Square, all lit up like a Christmas tree, even when it ain’t Christmas. Always crowded, cars honkin’, people yellin’. They film a lot there, I guess ’cause it looks so busy and important. I seen it on TV once, all them bright lights, makes yer head spin.

Grand Central Terminal, that’s another one. Big train station, people rushin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off. They filmed some romantic stuff there, I hear, people meetin’ and sayin’ goodbye, ya know, the usual.

  • Central Park – Big and green, lots of movies filmed there.
  • Times Square – Bright lights, busy, good for important-lookin’ scenes.
  • Grand Central Terminal – Big train station, good for meetin’ and greetin’ scenes.

And don’t forget that Katz’s Deli. That’s a place where they eat, big sandwiches, I hear. Famous for somethin’, can’t rightly remember what, but they filmed a movie there, a funny one, I think. People eatin’ and talkin’, what else ya gonna do in a deli, right?

Now, there’s this place, FDNY Ladder 8, some address like 14 N Moore Street. Firefighters work there, brave fellas. They used it in a movie, somethin’ about ghosts, I think. My grandson told me about it, he likes them spooky movies. Scared the bejesus outta me, just hearin’ about it.

Filming Locations in NYC, that’s what they call it. New York City, they say it’s got a grand skyline, whatever that means. Old neighborhoods too, and lots of people runnin’ around. Makes sense they film a lot there, I guess. Always somethin’ goin’ on.

If you’re one of them movie buffs, that’s what they call ’em, people who like watchin’ them picture shows, you can find all sorts of stuff about where they filmed things. Maps and stuff, shows ya where to go. Don’t know why ya’d wanna do that, but folks got their hobbies, I reckon. Me? I’d rather watch the movie at home, feet up, cup of tea in hand. Less walkin’ that way.

They got all sorts of movies, ya know. Some about love, some about fightin’, some about ghosts. New York City, they filmed it all there, seems like. Guess it’s a place with a little bit of everything. From them fancy parks to them busy streets, they got it all covered.

I heard they even got tours, take ya around to see where they filmed stuff. Charge ya money for it too, can ya believe that? Walkin’ around, lookin’ at buildin’s. I could do that for free, just go for a walk, see the same things. But people like spendin’ their money, I guess.

So, there ya have it. A little somethin’ ’bout them movie locations in New York City. Nothin’ fancy, just the way I see it. If you’re ever in the city, keep yer eyes peeled, ya might just recognize a spot from one of them picture shows. Or ya might not, depends on how much attention ya pay, I guess.

And that’s all I gotta say ’bout that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make myself a cup of tea.
