Okay, so I’ve been messing around with these horror movie collectible figures lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I’ve always been a huge fan of horror flicks, you know, the classics like Dracula, Godzilla, and those creepy Alien movies. So, I thought, why not start collecting some cool figures from these films?

I started by hitting up a bunch of stores, I went to the local one, called Best Buy. They’ve got a decent selection, but I was on the hunt for more specific stuff, you know? Some of the figures I saw were pretty awesome, like this one from NECA, the “Hammer Films: Horror Of…” It was going for about 35 bucks. They also had some Universal Monsters figures, which were a bit pricier, around 60 bucks. I even saw a massive “Nightmare On Elm Street” figure that was like, 130 bucks!

And then there’s this other place, Jay’s Toys and Games, man, they really know their stuff. They have a whole section dedicated to horror figures, called the “Horror Figures & Collectibles.” You walk in, and it’s like stepping into another world. They’ve got everything from the classic slashers to those freaky supernatural characters.

What I Got So Far

  • Dracula: Found a really detailed one, looks just like the old-school movie version.
  • Godzilla: Snagged a classic Godzilla, roaring and ready to stomp some cities.
  • The Thing: Okay, this one’s a bit weird, but they had a figure of “The Thing from Another World,” and it’s super creepy, just like the movie.
  • Chucky: They had a Child’s Play Chucky figure and I couldn’t resist.

I ended up grabbing a few figures from different places. There were so many options, like, you could find different versions of the same character. For example, there’s a bunch of different Dracula figures. One might be from an older movie, another from a newer one. Same with werewolves, zombies, and vampires – there are just tons of variations out there.

It’s been a blast building up my collection. It’s not just about buying the figures, though. It’s like, reliving those awesome movie moments, you know? Every time I look at these figures, I remember that specific scene or that feeling I got when I first watched the movie. It is cool.

This whole thing has turned into a bit of a hobby for me. I’m always on the lookout for new figures to add to my collection. It’s like a treasure hunt, and you never know what you’re gonna find. It’s been a really fun ride, and I can’t wait to see what other creepy collectibles I stumble upon next.
