Okay, so I’ve been meaning to find some good wine movies on Netflix, and I finally got around to it. It’s not as straightforward as you might think!
The Search Begins
First, I just went to Netflix and typed in “wine movies.” Sounds simple, right? Wrong! I got a bunch of random stuff, some documentaries, some dramas that probably just had a scene with wine in it, nothing that really screamed “THIS IS A WINE MOVIE!”
Digging Deeper
So, I realized I needed to get a little more specific. I started thinking about different kinds of wine movies I’ve heard of. Like, are we talking documentaries about winemaking? Romantic comedies set in vineyards? Thrillers with, I don’t know, poisoned wine?
- I tried searching for “wine documentaries.” That got me a little closer. I saw a couple that looked interesting about the process of making wine, different regions, that sort of thing.
- Then I tried “movies set in vineyards.” That gave me a few more options, mostly romances, which, you know, I’m not always in the mood for, but hey, it’s a start.
- I thought, maybe there’s, like, a specific movie title I should be looking for? So I have to search online and go back to netflix and try again.
Making a List
I started making myself a list of everything about the title of the movies related with Wine. I watched some trailers and found out some good ones.
My Next Step
I’m planning to go back through my list, read some more reviews, and pick a few to watch this weekend. Maybe with a glass of wine, of course!
It’s more work than I expect, I should have searched online in the first place, but well, It all worked out.
