Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about the new He-Man stuff on Netflix, both the Revelation and the CGI series. And the toys? Gotta check ’em out, right?

First, I jumped to check what all I could get my hands on. I gotta say, a feast for the eyes.

I started with the Revelation Masterverse figures because, well, I watched the show and liked some of the new designs. I grabbed He-Man, naturally. The box was pretty cool, with some nice artwork.

  • Getting him out, the first thing you notice is the size. These guys are bigger than the vintage figures, for sure.
  • The articulation is insane! Double-jointed elbows and knees, ab crunch, the works. You can get him into some seriously dynamic poses.
  • The paint job on mine was pretty good, no major complaints.

Next,I got Skeletor. Gotta have the bad guy, right? Same deal as He-Man – awesome articulation, good sculpt. I dig the extra hands and accessories they come with, makes for more display options. One thing I noticed is that some of the joints on Skeletor were a little stiff at first. Had to work them back and forth a bit to loosen them up, but no biggie.

Moving on to the CGI toys

These are aimed at younger kids, but hey, I’m a kid at heart. I picked up He-Man and the vehicle set, the one with the ground ripper. It’s a totally different aesthetic, much chunkier and more stylized.

  • He-Man can ride, and there’s some simple action features.
  • Honestly, these are just fun to mess around with.

I did a little posing, put them on my shelf next to some older He-Man figures I had. The Masterverse figures really stand out because of the size and detail. The CGI ones are cute in their own way, a nice contrast.

Overall, I am impressed with the He-man toys. Whether you’re a long-time fan or just getting into it because of the Netflix shows, there’s something for everyone.
