Now, if you’re lookin’ to get yourself some of these french movie posters, I hear there’s places you can go. Some folks go to these special stores that sell ’em. They got all kinds, from way back when to the new ones. I hear tell there’s even a store been sellin’ them french posters for thirty years! Can you imagine? Thirty years sellin’ the same thing! They must have thousands by now. They got them pictures from the 60s, the 70s, all the way up to what’s playin’ now. Lordy, that’s a lot of posters.

But if you ain’t got one of them fancy stores near ya, you can look online. They got these online stores where you can buy pretty much anything, and I hear they got these french movie posters, too. One of them’s called Mauvais somethin’ or other. I can’t rightly pronounce it, but I hear it’s a good place to find these things. It’s a store online and a regular store you can walk in. They sell all sorts of old stuff related to movies, not just posters.

What Kind of Posters They Got?

They say these french movie posters are somethin’ special. They ain’t like the ones we got here. They got different pictures, different writin’, all in that French language. Some folks say they’re prettier than ours. Now, I don’t know about that, but they sure do sound interestin’. And they got posters for all sorts of movies. Old ones, new ones, ones with famous folks in ’em. I hear they got posters with this Brigitte Bardot lady, and this Alain Delon fella. And Jean-Paul Belmondo, Jeanne Moreau, Louis de Funs, whoever they are. They must be big shots over there in France. They even got posters for movies called “Les Tontons Flingueurs” and “La Grande Vadrouille”. I can’t say them names, but I bet them movies is a hoot. Some folks call them “cult movies”. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important.

Some of them french movie posters are old, real old. They call ’em “vintage”. That means they been around a long time, I reckon. Like them old quilts your grandma used to make. These vintage posters are probably worth a pretty penny, seein’ as how they’re so old and rare. They ain’t no reprints or reproductions. Whatever that means. They’re the real deal, just like they was when they was first made.

  • They got old posters, they call ’em “vintage”.
  • They got new posters, too.
  • Some are worth a lot of money.

Why Folks Like ‘Em

I don’t rightly know why folks are so crazy about these french movie posters. Maybe it’s ’cause they’re different. Maybe it’s ’cause they’re from France. Or maybe they just like the way they look. Whatever the reason, folks sure do love ’em. They say that some people put them in their house, they hang them on their walls. It makes them feel fancy. Or like they are from somewhere else, like France.

They also sell other things, like lobby cards and stills. I ain’t sure what them things are, but they sound like they go with the posters. Maybe they’re like them little pictures they used to give out at the picture show. And they got movie scripts, too. Them’s the papers with all the words the actors say. I reckon some folks like to read ’em, see how the movie was made. It’s all a mystery to me, but I guess some folks find it interestin’. I mean, who would want to read that? Just watch the movie, I say.

Bein’ Careful

If you’re gonna buy one of these french movie posters, you best be careful. Make sure you’re gettin’ the real thing, not some cheap copy. There’s folks out there who’ll try to sell ya a fake. They’ll say it’s old and valuable, but it ain’t worth nothin’. So you gotta be smart. Ask questions. Make sure you know what you’re gettin’. Don’t be afraid to haggle a little, neither. You don’t wanna pay too much. Just like when you’re buyin’ a used tractor, you gotta make sure you’re gettin’ a good deal.

Well, I reckon that’s all I know about them french movie posters. It’s a whole lot of nothin’, if you ask me. But if you’re interested in that sort of thing, I hope this helps ya out some. Just remember to be careful and don’t spend all your money on somethin’ that ain’t worth it. There’s better things to spend your money on, like a good pair of shoes or a new hat. But if you are set on buying those posters, then you do you, I guess.
