Alright, so the other day I was thinking about diving into some spooky stuff, you know, those New England horror movies. I mean, who doesn’t love a good scare set in those creepy, old, atmospheric towns?

Getting Started

First, I wanted to get a feel for what’s out there. I just started looking around for anything related to New England and horror. It’s kinda broad, but hey, you gotta start somewhere, right? I found this cool sentence saying, “Welcome to Fright Night, your portal to the eerie, unexplained, and spine-tingling realm of the supernatural.” Man, that got me hooked immediately! It’s like, yeah, that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

Diving Deeper

Then, I started to think about specific shows or events. I remembered the new season of “American Horror Story” and that new Mike Flanagan show, “Midnight Mass.” Those are some heavy hitters in the horror genre. And it got me thinking, there’s gotta be more than just TV shows, right?

Finding Real-World Events

So I kept digging. And guess what? I stumbled upon this thing called “Haunted Overload.” It’s supposed to be this super intense Halloween experience in New England. They even say it’s “your destination for the most spine-tingling and immersive Halloween experience in New England!” It’s at DeMeritt Hill Farm in Lee, NH. Sounds pretty wild, doesn’t it?

Making Plans

I started looking into the details. They’ve got different levels of scares. You can do a “scare-less Day Haunt” for $11, a “Fright Night Lite” for $20, or go all out with the “Haunted Overload” for $31. I’m thinking, maybe I should try the Fright Night Lite first. Don’t wanna jump straight into the deep end, you know?

Looking Ahead

And then I found this whole schedule for Halloween events in New England! They’ve got a list of opening nights for haunted houses, trails, corn mazes, you name it. The date that caught my eye was Saturday, October 12th, 2024. It just says, “Tap into the screams with Halloween New England’s schedule.” Sounds like a plan to me!

Wrapping Up

So, yeah, that’s where I’m at with this whole New England horror thing. Started with a simple search, got hooked by some cool descriptions, found some awesome shows, discovered a real-world event, and now I’m planning to check out some haunted spots this October. It’s been a fun little journey so far, and I can’t wait to see what other spooky stuff I can uncover. Maybe I’ll even make it to that Haunted Overload thing. Who knows? Stay tuned!
