Well, let me tell you about these Funko Pop things. See, my grandkids, they’re all crazy about ’em. Specially them Funko Pops horror movies ones. Now, I don’t get it, myself. They’re just little dolls with big heads, ain’t they? But the young’uns love ’em. They got a whole shelf full. They say it is about horror movies.
So, these horror Funko Pops, they’re like, little monsters and spooky characters from them scary movies. You know, the ones that give you the heebie-jeebies? That is what they say. My grandson, he’s got this one Funko Pop. Looks like a fella with a mask and a big knife. Says he’s from some movie, somethin’ about Halloween. Don’t know nothin’ about that, but the boy, he sure loves it. It is about horror movies Funko Pops, he keeps telling me. I still do not understand it though.
And my granddaughter, she’s got this other one, a Funko Pop. Looks like a creepy little girl with long, dark hair. She says it’s from another one of them horror movies. Don’t know the name. But these kids, they trade ’em, they buy ’em, they sell ’em. It’s a whole thing, I tell ya. They are called Funko Pops horror. Whatever that means.
They even got some kinda game with ’em, these Funko Pop things. They put ’em on a table and roll dice. Lots of yellin’ and carryin’ on. I just stay outta the way. Don’t understand it, but they seem to have fun. As long as they’re happy, I reckon. And it keeps ’em outta trouble, I suppose. More of them horror movies Funko Pops to collect they say.
Now, you’d think these Funko Pops would be cheap, right? Just little plastic dolls. But no sir. Some of ’em are expensive. My grandson, he saved up all his allowance for some special one. Shiny, or somethin’. Said it was a “limited edition” horror Funko Pop. Paid a pretty penny for it, too. But he was happy as a clam, so what can you do? Kids love them horror movies, and they love to collect them Funko Pops.

- Even got some that look like singers and actors.
- But my grandkids, they only want them horror movies Funko Pops.
I asked my granddaughter why she likes them Funko Pops so much. She said it is about horror movies. She said it’s ’cause they’re cute, in a creepy kinda way. Said she likes havin’ all her favorite characters lined up on her shelf. Makes her happy to look at ’em. And she likes showin’ ’em off to her friends. They all talk about which ones they got, which ones they want. It’s like a secret club, almost. A secret club that love horror movies and collect Funko Pops. I guess.
They are always talking about these horror Funko Pops. They say they are the best thing. Me, I still don’t see the appeal. But I guess it’s like anything else. Some folks like knittin’, some folks like fishin’. These kids, they like collectin’ these Funko Pop things. And if it makes ’em happy, who am I to judge? If they want to spend their time on horror movies and collecting them Funko Pops, then so be it. I say.
My grandkids even asked me to buy them some of them Funko Pops horror for Christmas. I told them I would think about it. I saw them online, and they sure got a lot to choose from. I guess they release new ones all the time. That is what they say, there are always more horror movies Funko Pops coming out. It is never ending, I tell you.
They say these Funko Pops are collectible, these horror movies Funko Pops. Like stamps or coins. I guess some of ’em are worth a lot of money. Don’t know about that. Seems like a waste to me. But then again, I used to collect salt and pepper shakers. So, to each their own, I reckon. If you like horror movies, then you probably like them horror Funko Pops. That is what my grandkids say.
I guess if you are into them horror movies, then these Funko Pops might be for you. My grandkids sure seem to think so. They are always talking about the new ones that are coming out. And which ones they want to add to their collection. They even have these big books that show all the different Funko Pops that have ever been made. It is like a bible of horror movies Funko Pops for them.
So, there you have it. That is all I know about them Funko Pops horror movies things. It is a big deal for the kids these days. It is all about horror movies and collecting them little Funko Pops. Like I said, I don’t get it. But the young’uns love ’em. And that’s all that matters, I suppose. They are happy, and that is what counts. As long as they stay out of trouble, collecting all them horror movies Funko Pops, I am happy for them.
