Okay, so, like, I’ve always been a huge fan of horror movies, right? But sometimes I just want something that’s, like, both spooky and, you know, kinda girly? So, I decided to create the ultimate girly horror movie marathon.
First, I went on a hunt for movies. I checked out some websites, read a few blog posts, and asked around for recommendations. Let me tell you, it was a journey. I found some titles that sounded super interesting, like “Pearl” and “The Love Witch.” Oh, and “Jennifer’s Body” – that one’s a classic!
Then, I started to make a list. I was looking for movies with strong female characters, you know, the ones you can’t help but root for. Some movies had this whole “weird girl horror” vibe, which I totally dug. Like, the girls in “Braid” were super weird, in the best way possible! I also stumbled upon this phrase, “good for her horror,” which is basically about women getting back at people, and I was, like, “Yes, this is what I need!”
I ended up with a pretty solid list of about 30 films. I was feeling pretty proud of myself at this point. I organized them, you know, trying to create a good flow from one movie to the next. I even made some notes about each film, so I wouldn’t forget what they were about.
Next up, I got myself ready for the marathon. I made sure I had a cozy blanket, some snacks, and, of course, some drinks. I even put on some pink fluffy slippers because, why not? It’s a girly horror movie marathon, after all!
I started the marathon, and let me tell you, it was a blast. I watched movies where girls pledged their lives to Satan, movies where women were both glamorous and terrifying, and movies where the main characters were just, like, super cool and strong.
By the end of the marathon, I was both exhausted and exhilarated. I had discovered some amazing new movies, and I had a whole new appreciation for the girly side of horror. I felt like a total scream queen, but also, like, a total girl boss. I mean, who says horror can’t be fabulous, right?
I definitely recommend doing a girly horror movie marathon if you’re into that kind of thing. It’s a super fun way to explore the genre and see some amazing female characters kick butt.

So yeah, that was my girly horror movie adventure. It was a little bit spooky, a little bit glamorous, and a whole lot of fun.
