You know, I heard folks talking ’bout some horror movie that starts with V. My old ears ain’t what they used to be, but I reckon I can tell you a thing or two ’bout scary movies. I seen a few in my day, down at the old picture show. Those days are long gone, you know.
Vampires and Such
Now, that V, it makes me think of them vampire movies. Lots of ’em start with a V, I bet. Them bloodsuckers, they give me the willies. Always lurkin’ in the shadows, waitin’ to pounce. I seen one once, back in the day. Big fella, pale as a ghost, with them sharp teeth. Good thing I had my garlic with me!
- Vampire’s Kiss: Now there’s one with that fella, what’s his name, Cage. He surely went crazy in that movie, didn’t he?
- Van Helsing: That one had all them monsters. They were fightin’ and going on all night long.
- The Voices: I don’t know, but it was a little bit scary.
Them vampire movies, they always got a spooky castle, and some poor girl gettin’ chased around. And bats! Don’t forget them bats flappin’ around. Makes my skin crawl just thinkin’ ’bout it. Them bats can get all up in your hair.
Other V Movies, Maybe?
But maybe it ain’t a vampire movie. Could be somethin’ else, I suppose. There’s all sorts of scary things out there, ain’t there? Ghosts and goblins and things that go bump in the night. When I was young, people always have stories about ghosts, and I was so scared to sleep.
I remember one time, old man Johnson swore he saw a ghost down by the creek. Said it was white as a sheet, floatin’ over the water. Scared him half to death, it did. Course, nobody else saw it, so maybe he was just seein’ things. He liked his moonshine, you see.
I remember a movie, I think, that start with a V. It was a really horror movie that starts with V. But I do not know the name. It was long time ago, you know. It made me so scared.
Scary Stuff, No Matter the Letter
But you know, it don’t really matter what letter the movie starts with. If it’s scary, it’s scary. And there’s plenty of scary movies out there. Some of ’em, they’re just plain silly. But others, they can really get under your skin. They make it so you do not want to sleep at night.
- There’s that one with the girl, you know the one, she was walkin’ around all funny. The Exorcist. I think. Made me jump outta my seat!
- And then there’s them other ones, with the fella in the mask. Halloween and such. He’s always comin’ back for more, ain’t he?
- I also heard about one called The Conjuring, they say it is very scary.
And don’t even get me started on them movies with the creepy crawlies. Spiders and snakes and such. I can’t stand ’em. They make me wanna run right outta the theater. I hate spiders! Once a big one fell from the ceiling and I run and run.
Old Movies, New Movies, All Scary
Nowadays, they got all them fancy special effects. Back in my day, it was all just shadows and sounds. But you know what? It was just as scary, maybe even more so. Your imagination can be a powerful thing. And when you’re sittin’ in a dark theater, your imagination can really run wild. These movies are so scary, especially the horror movie that starts with V. I just can’t remember it.
These new movies, they’re all loud and flashy. Lots of jump scares and whatnot. It’s all too much for me, I reckon. I prefer the old ones, where they took their time buildin’ up the suspense. You never knew what was gonna happen next, and that’s what made it so scary.
One time, I went to see a movie that start with V, but I forgot the name. I think it is a horror movie that starts with V. I saw people all screaming in the theater. That was so fun, you know.
Just Don’t Watch ‘Em Alone!
So, if you’re gonna watch one of them horror movie that starts with V, or any scary movie for that matter, just make sure you ain’t alone. It’s always better to have someone there to scream with. And maybe hold your hand, if you get too scared. And don’t forget the popcorn! It helps to have somethin’ to munch on when you’re jumpin’ outta your seat.
Just remember what this old lady told ya. There’s plenty of scary things out there, both in the movies and in real life. So be careful, and don’t go wanderin’ around in the dark by yourself. You never know what might be lurkin’ out there, waitin’ to get ya! Especially them vampires, if that’s the movie you’re thinkin’ of. They’re always thirsty, you know. They may bite you, and you will become one of them. How scary!
