You know, I heard them young’uns talkin’ ’bout this thing called Crackle. Sounds like somethin’ you’d hear in an old, creaky house, don’t it? Well, turns out it’s where you can watch them movin’ pictures, them shows, and all that. And they got a whole heap of them horror movies on Crackle. Lord have mercy, some of ’em are enough to make your hair stand on end!
I seen a few, I tell ya. My granddaughter, bless her heart, she showed me how to work it. It ain’t easy, all them buttons and whatnot. But once you get the hang of it, well, there they are, them scary movies, right there on that little screen. You won’t believe the things they put in them horror movies these days.

Now, I remember one called “The Exorcist”. Lord, that one was a doozy. ‘Bout a little girl, possessed by the devil himself, I reckon. Spinnin’ her head around, talkin’ in funny voices. Made my skin crawl, I tell ya. They say it’s the scariest movie ever made. And I believe it. I surely do. I was like, “The Exorcist is the best horror movie on Crackle, right?” And my granddaughter said, “yeah, granny.” I heard that after the success of The Exorcist, a sequel was soon in development.

Then there’s the ones with the ghosts. Floaty things, comin’ through walls, makin’ noises in the attic. I don’t like them ones too much. Reminds me of that old house down the road, the one they say is haunted. Used to hear things at night, creakin’ and moanin’. Gave me the willies, it did. They got all them old movies, the classic ones, and they got the new ones too. The ones with all them fancy special effects. Things jumpin’ out at ya, blood and guts and all that. It’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. Them young’uns sure do know how to make a scary movie these days. I just hope they don’t make those movies too real, you know. Who knows what’s gonna happen to us if those stories come true? It’s awful to just think about it.
