Alright, so y’all wanna know ’bout this Gran Turismo movie, huh? I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’, but I seen it, and I got things to say.
First off, this movie, it ain’t just some cartoon cars racin’ around. It’s based on a true story, see? This fella, Jann Mardenborough, he played this video game, Gran Turismo, and then he went on to become a real race car driver! Can ya believe that? Sounds like somethin’ outta a fairy tale, but it ain’t. They say it’s fast and furious, and I guess it is, for them city folks who like that kinda thing.
Now, the movie, it shows ya how hard this kid worked. It ain’t just sittin’ on yer butt and wiggling yer thumbs, no sirree. He had to train, real hard, like them fellas in the army, maybe harder. They say it shows how important it is to, ya know, commit to somethin’. To not be wishy-washy. Like when you plantin’ corn, you gotta plant it right, you can’t go back and forth, change yer mind every minute. Gotta stick with it, that’s what the movie is sayin’, I reckon.
They got all sorts of racin’ in this here movie. Fast cars, zoomin’ around, makin’ lots of noise. My old mule, Bessie, she’d probably have a fit if she saw all that commotion. But them young folks, they seem to like it. It’s got what they call “high-octane action”, which I guess means it’s excitin’. And it is, kinda, even for an old woman like me. They also say it’s dangerous, racin’ cars. Well, I coulda told ya that. Anything faster than a horse and buggy is dangerous in my book.
- They train hard.
- They race real fast.
- They gotta be brave.
The movie, it ain’t all sunshine and roses, though. This Jann fella, he faces some tough times. He doubts himself, gets scared. But he learns to push through, to not let fear get the better of him. That’s a good lesson for anybody, I reckon. Even us old folks, we gotta face our fears sometimes. Like that time I had to chase a raccoon outta my henhouse. Scared me half to death, but I did it!
Now, some folks are talkin’ about whether this movie is good for Christians or not. Well, I ain’t no preacher, but I don’t see nothin’ wrong with it. It’s about workin’ hard, perseverin’, and followin’ yer dreams. Ain’t that what the Good Book tells us to do? To be strong and courageous? To not give up? Sounds pretty Christian to me. Sure, there’s some cussin’ in it, but ain’t nobody perfect. We all slip up sometimes.
One thing I really liked about the movie was how it showed that anybody can do somethin’ great if they put their mind to it. This Jann fella, he wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was just a regular kid who loved playin’ video games. But he had a dream, and he worked hard to make it come true. That’s somethin’ we can all learn from.
So, overall, I’d say this Gran Turismo movie is a good one. It’s excitin’, it’s inspirin’, and it’s got a good message. If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to watch with the family, this might just be it. Just be prepared for some loud noises and fast cars. And maybe tell the little ones to cover their ears when the cussin’ starts. But other than that, it’s a good, clean movie, far as I can tell. And you know what? It even made this old lady think about tryin’ somethin’ new. Maybe I’ll learn how to play that Gran Turismo game myself. Who knows, maybe I’ll be the next racin’ champion!
In conclusion, the movie ain’t preachy, but it does show the power of stickin’ to somethin’ and not lettin’ fear hold ya back. That sounds like good advice, no matter who you are or where you come from.
