This freaked me and my friends out so much we deleted it immediately after watching. It was the first time I'd ever paid attention to the psychological horror genre. Scariest movie I think I've probably EVER watched.

Good acting. Terrible movie.
Starts off slow but does get interesting toward the middle of the movie and then it takes a turn for the worst. Long paced, slow and repetitive at times. If you have trouble watching slow movies you will definitely nod off. The end of this movie is complete garbage. It seems as the director/writer ran out of ideas or ran out of budget and threw something together to wrap it up. The Hereditary should never be in any best top 100 horror movie lists ever.
Awesome movie. I hope this director has a long career in horror films. Great horror movies like this are rare!

I watched this movie and it’s seriously the most disturbing movie i’ve ever seen.
Movie Summary: A bunch of random ideas poorly put together with no real reason. The majority of what happens in the movie, could have happened at the beginning of the movie, because nothing special happens that prevents it during the whole movie. The movie should have started towards the end of the movie and continued from there, it would have made more sense and been a million times better. Its like watching a couple drive across the country from Florida to California with a ghost in the backseat and the ghost makes itself known to the couple in California and then the movie is over.
I really didn't understand anything from the movie but I liked it 😊
