US Release Date: June 8, 2018
Starring: Toni Collette, Gabriel Byrne, Alex Wolff
Directed By: Ari Aster
Synopsis: When Ellen, the matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter’s family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry. The more they discover, the more they find themselves trying to outrun the sinister fate they seem to have inherited as it slowly destroys everything they know. Making his feature debut, writer-director Ari Aster unleashes a nightmare vision of a domestic breakdown that exhibits the craft and precision of a nascent auteur, transforming a familial tragedy into something ominous and deeply disquieting, and pushing the horror movie into chilling new terrain with its shattering portrait of heritage gone to hell.

  1. what…the…fuck…did i just watch? i'm a scardy-cat when it comes to horror. so i have to see this haha. any ladies want to let me hide my eyes in their bosom during the scary parts? xD

  2. I am so hyped for this movie that I'm worried it won't live up to my expectations now. Either that or I'll leave there needing therapy. I'm hoping for therapy lol

  3. All I want is for this film to be a thousand times scarier than The Exorcist and Event Horizon (well, at least it tried) and Possession and Rosemary’s Baby wrapped up together. Is that too much to ask?

  4. Idk bout you guys but I tend to judge horror movies by muting the trailer then watching it. if it doesn't visually scare me, it simply isn't horror. Getting scared of loud noises is cheap, everyone would "jump" from a gunshot.
