Can someone please explain this film to me? I have no idea what I just watched except wooden actors, a plot with more holes than a colander and an ending that totally negated the title. Best bit about the film – the end.

Do young detective Davis God himself killed because he was trying to prove himself to his partner that he could do it and he could catch the guy. Hidden agenda, does detective was on the right trail his problem he became an alcoholic which drove him to do what he had to do, he couldn’t control his dreams anymore I was a pretty sad but surprising ending. I sure hope the newcomers that watches this movie don’t start reading comments first, everyone has a different opinion when it comes to film writing and the story that made the movie. Took a pause. @36:20 to make myself a coffee, and to think about what I’ve watched so far in this movie … pretty hard to be married to a cop, and or a detective, it certainly seems that way, you don’t need a nagging wife when you come in late actually working because he wasn’t at the bar or playing around on her… And so the other cop detective the drinker has a pretty high ego on himself, doesn’t seem like he gets along with anyone not even his wife. This movie is called a Hidden Agenda hmmm wonder what’s this is leading up too.
Now I’m going Back into the movie ! hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I am with all my questions, and it is sorta dragging right now can’t wait to see the action crime. Tata for now

This female news reporter is Dumb for opening her door and not knowing who's behind it. A single woman should never open her door unless she knows who's there! I liked the fact that we see Matthews go through a RE-birth to catch a killer. BUT does he catch the killer? Very good movie.
