Okay, so the other day I was trying to figure out what to do with the kids for our homeschool day. We were all kinda dragging, and I needed something educational but, you know, fun. So I thought, “Hey, let’s check out Netflix!”
First, I grabbed my laptop and plopped down on the couch with the kids. We opened up Netflix and I started by just typing “documentaries” into the search bar. That brought up a TON of stuff, some of which looked way too intense for a relaxed day. We needed something lighter.
Then I got a little smarter. I started trying more specific searches. I typed in things like:
- “kids documentaries”
- “nature shows for kids”
- “science shows for kids”
- “history documentaries for children”
That narrowed things down a bit. We scrolled through the results, looking at the little preview images and reading the short descriptions. The kids helped me pick out a few that looked interesting.
What we watched
We watched a few short nature documentaries. They were cute, it have some nice video of animals.
It was that easy. I just tired different searches and scrolled and previewed. We found what we wanted and watched it!
