Okay, so I decided to do something fun for Halloween this year. I wanted to make some horror movie cutouts, you know, those life-sized cardboard things you can stand up? Yeah, those.
First, I started brainstorming which characters I wanted. Freddy Krueger was a must. I mean, “A Nightmare on Elm Street” is a classic! Also thought about Pennywise, ’cause, well, it’s Pennywise.
- Started looking online for where to buy these things, and man, there are tons of options.
- Found a site called that had a bunch of horror-themed cutouts.
- They even had this one cutout where you could pose as the Grim Reaper. Thought that was pretty cool.
I ended up ordering a Freddy Krueger one and a Pennywise one. They weren’t super cheap, but hey, it’s for Halloween, right? And they are good to put away and keep in good condition. Oh! I also saw some called “Add-On” that were perfect. I might get them next time!
Getting Them Ready
When the cutouts arrived, they were folded up in these big boxes. Had to be careful unfolding them so I didn’t rip anything. Once they were out, it was pretty easy to set them up. They had these stands in the back that you just fold out.
- Unfolded the cutouts carefully.
- Set up the stands in the back.
- Placed them in my living room for now.
The Reaction
My friends came over the other day, and they totally freaked out when they saw the cutouts! Especially the Pennywise one, haha. We took a bunch of pictures with them, pretending to be scared and all that. It was a good laugh.
I’m thinking of putting them outside on Halloween night to scare the trick-or-treaters. Maybe put some spooky music in the background, too. Should be a good time!
Anyways, if you’re looking to spice up your Halloween decorations, I definitely recommend getting some horror movie cutouts. They’re fun, they’re spooky, and they make for some great photo ops. Just be prepared to give your friends a good scare!
Oh, and one more thing. When choosing what to get, check that they are unique, you know? There are lots of generic ones out there, but it’s way cooler to find something custom or unique. That’s all!
And yeah, I did find out that these cardboard cutouts are pretty popular things, especially the horror movie ones. Many people are buying them as collection items.
So, that’s my little project for this Halloween. Hope you guys like it! If you have any cool decoration ideas, let me know in the comments. Later!
