Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with some spooky looks lately, you know, just for fun, and I figured I’d share my little adventure with you guys. ‘Cause who doesn’t love a good horror movie vibe, right?
I started by digging through my makeup stash. I’ve got tons of stuff, but I was really looking for things that screamed “Halloween.” I found a bunch of dark eyeshadows, some blood-red lipsticks, and even some special effects stuff I’d picked up a while back.
First thing I did was slap on some foundation. I went a shade lighter than usual ’cause, you know, gotta get that pale, spooky thing going on. Then, I started playing with the eyeshadows. I used a lot of blacks and greys, blending them out to create a smoky, shadowy look around my eyes.
- Black eyeshadow: all over the lid and into the crease.
- Grey eyeshadow: blended out from the crease to create a gradient.
- White eyeshadow: just a touch on the inner corners to make my eyes pop.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I used for the eyes:
Next, I worked on my lips. I lined them with a black lip liner and then filled them in with a deep, blood-red lipstick. I even added a little bit of black eyeshadow to the corners of my mouth to make it look like, you know, dried blood or something. Gross, but cool!
The real fun started when I got to the special effects stuff. I used some liquid latex to create some fake wounds on my cheeks and forehead. Then I painted them with some red and black face paint to make them look all nasty and infected.
And of course, no horror look is complete without some fake blood! I splattered some on my face and clothes, and I even dripped some from the corners of my mouth. It was messy, but so much fun!
I spent the whole day experimenting with different looks, just having a blast. It felt good to unleash my inner artist, even if it was a little bit on the darker side. I’m really happy with how everything turned out. It was a good way to spend a weekend, playing around with makeup and creating something a little bit creepy, a little bit spooky, but definitely a whole lot of fun.
So yeah, that’s my little horror movie makeup journey. Hope you guys enjoyed it!
