Alright, guys, so I had this crazy idea the other day to make a horror movie snow globe. You know, something different, a bit spooky, not your usual Christmas-y stuff. I’m always browsing through stuff online, and I kept seeing these neat designs for like, cup wraps and tumblers with horror characters and whatnot. So, I figured, why not a snow globe?
I started by brainstorming which horror icons I wanted to include. Freddy Krueger was a no-brainer, “Never Sleep Again,” right? I also thought about adding some other classic horror characters. I even found a bunch of cool designs online – some people are really talented, let me tell you! They had these unique, custom-made designs that were just perfect.
Next, I needed to figure out how to actually make this thing. I hit up a few online shops to see what my options were. There were a ton of different snow globes, and I mean A LOT, all sorts of shapes and sizes. It was a bit overwhelming, but also kind of fun to see all the possibilities. I eventually found a plain one that I thought would work great as a base.
Then came the tricky part – getting those horror character designs onto the globe. I played around with a few different ideas. I considered trying to paint them directly, but let’s be honest, my art skills are… well, they’re not exactly up to par. Then I remembered those custom designs I saw earlier. I ended up finding a seller who could print them on a special kind of paper that I could use for the globe. This was the key to make my idea to come to the life.
Once I had all the materials, I got to work. It was a bit of a process, I’m not gonna lie. I carefully cut out the designs, arranged them inside the globe just the way I wanted, and then added the “snow” and the liquid. There were a few mishaps along the way, a couple of spills and some re-dos, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
The Final Result
-
It’s awesome! Seriously, I’m so happy with how it turned out. It’s got that creepy, horror movie vibe I was going for, but it’s also kind of cool and unique.
-
Seeing Freddy and the other characters “floating” in there is just…chef’s kiss. I mean, it’s not for everyone, but if you’re a horror fan, I think you’d dig it.

I’ve learned one thing, maybe next time I’ll just browse those online stores and see what custom-made stuff they already have. It seems a lot easy to get one I like directly. But anyway, it’s a great experience, I made it from 0 to 100 by myself!
So, yeah, that’s the story of my horror movie snow globe. It was a fun little project, and I’m already thinking about what I want to make next. Maybe a whole series of them? Who knows! Stay tuned, folks!
