This year, my little grandson, he come to my house and say he want a toy. Not just any toy, he say he want a horror movie toy. I say, what is that? He say it from a movie, a scary movie. I don’t know much about these, but I try to find out.

My grandson, he like these scary movies. I don’t know why, they give me the creeps. But he say they fun. He say he want a toy from these movies. I look around, and I see many things.
- There’s this doll, it look creepy. It have a scary face. They call it Chucky. My grandson say it from a movie. I don’t like it, it look like it gonna come alive and scare me.
- There’s this other one, a man with a mask. He look very scary, too. They say he from a movie called Halloween. I don’t know this movie, but this toy, it not for little kids, I think.
- There are other movie characters. One with big claws. One with a hockey mask. Some are monsters. These toys are for those who like horror movies, maybe.
Are These Toys Okay for Kids?
I ask around, some people say these horror movie toys are okay for kids. Some say no. I think, maybe it depend on the kid. My grandson, he not scared of these things. He like them. But other kids, maybe they get scared. It’s hard to know if a horror movie toy is right for your child. Kids and horror movies are different for every child.
Some folks say don’t let kids watch these scary movies. They say it give them bad dreams. I remember when I was little, I saw a scary movie, and I couldn’t sleep for days. - Ask the kid what they like. Maybe they don’t want a very scary toy. Maybe they want something a little scary, but not too much.

My Thoughts on Horror Movie Toys
These horror movie toys, they are not for everyone. Some people like them, some don’t. I don’t like them much, they give me the willies. But my grandson, he likes them. He plays with them and he’s happy. So, maybe they are okay.
