Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this idea for an online horror movie trivia game, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride! I’ve always loved horror flicks, and I figured, why not turn that love into a fun little project?
First off, I started brainstorming some questions. You know, the easy stuff like “Who’s the killer in Friday the 13th?” or “What’s the name of that creepy doll in Child’s Play?” But then I started digging deeper. I’m talking obscure stuff, like “What color was the car in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre?” You gotta have some tough ones to separate the real fans from the posers, right?
Then came the fun part – picking a platform. I wanted something simple, something anyone could use. I messed around with a few different options, trying to figure out the best way to display the questions and keep score. I didn’t want anything too fancy, just something that would get the job done.
- Decided on a platform: I went with this simple website builder I found. It let me create different pages for each round of questions, and it had a built-in scoring system. Perfect!
- Designed the layout: I kept it pretty basic. Black background, red text, you know, to give it that spooky vibe. Added a few creepy images here and there, nothing too graphic though.
- Input the questions: This took forever! I had hundreds of questions to type in. My fingers were cramping by the end of it, but it was worth it.
After I got all the questions in, it was time for testing. I roped in a few of my horror-loving buddies to try it out. We spent a whole night playing the game, and it was a blast! There were a few glitches here and there, some questions were too easy, some were too hard, but overall, it was a success.
I made some tweaks based on their feedback, fine-tuned the difficulty levels, and fixed those pesky bugs. It took a while, but I finally got it to a place where I was happy with it.
Sharing it with the world
Now, I’m thinking about sharing it online, maybe on some horror movie forums. It’s still a work in progress, but I’m pretty proud of it. It’s just a fun little side project, but who knows, maybe other horror fans will get a kick out of it too. If you’re a horror movie buff, keep an eye out – you might stumble upon my little creation sometime soon! Just imagine – you could be the next horror trivia champion! It’s all just for fun, of course, but it’s a great way to test your knowledge and maybe learn a thing or two about your favorite scary movies. I’m actually excited and want to try to do more things like this in the future.
