Okay, here is a blog post about making horror movie wrapping paper:

So, I’ve always been a huge fan of horror movies. I mean, who doesn’t love a good scare, right? And with Halloween coming up, I got this crazy idea to combine my love for horror with gift-giving. I thought, “Why not make some horror movie-themed wrapping paper?” It sounded like a fun little project, and I was itching to get started.

First things first, I needed to gather some supplies. I rummaged through my craft boxes and found some plain white wrapping paper rolls that I’d bought a while back and never used. Perfect! Then came the fun part – deciding which horror movies to feature. I made a list of my all-time favorites: “Friday the 13th,” “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” “Halloween” you know, the classics. I also threw in some newer ones like “The Conjuring” and “Get Out” for good measure. Gotta keep things fresh, right?

Now, I’m no artist, but I figured I could at least draw some simple shapes and figures. I started with Jason Voorhees’ iconic hockey mask for “Friday the 13th”. I grabbed a black marker and drew the mask’s outline on the white paper, then filled in the details like the red markings. It wasn’t perfect, but hey, it was recognizable! I also drew some axes and machetes around it, because, well, Jason.

Next up was Freddy Krueger’s glove from “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” I used a brown marker for the glove itself and a silver one for the blades. This one was a bit trickier, but after a few tries, I managed to get it looking decent. I added some red stripes and wrote “1, 2, Freddy’s coming for you!” in a creepy font around the glove. Spooky, right?

For “Halloween,” I kept it simple and drew Michael Myers’ white mask with a black marker. I also drew some pumpkins and wrote “The Night He Came Home!” around them. Easy peasy. Then, for “The Conjuring,” I decided to draw the creepy doll Annabelle. I used a combination of black, white, and red markers to capture her unsettling look. I also added some phrases like “Miss me?” and “Find me.” around her.

I spent a few days working on these designs, and let me tell you, it was a blast! I even got my kids involved, and they had fun drawing their own little monsters and ghosts on the paper. We ended up with a whole bunch of unique wrapping paper designs, each one creepier than the last.

  • Friday the 13th: Jason’s mask, axes, machetes.
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy’s glove, red stripes, creepy quotes.
  • Halloween: Michael Myers’ mask, pumpkins, movie quotes.
  • The Conjuring: Annabelle, unsettling phrases.

When it came time to wrap some gifts, I was so excited to use my new creations. I carefully wrapped each present with the different designs, making sure to match the theme to the recipient’s favorite horror movies. I even added some black and orange ribbons and bows to complete the look.

The reactions I got were priceless! My friends and family were both amused and slightly creeped out by the wrapping paper. Some of them even said they were hesitant to open the gifts because they didn’t want to ruin the cool designs. Mission accomplished, I’d say!

This little project turned out to be way more fun than I expected. It was a great way to combine my love for horror movies with my creative side. And the best part? I now have a stash of unique and spooky wrapping paper that I can use for any occasion. Who says you can only use horror-themed stuff for Halloween, right?
