Okay, so I saw this thing online about getting free Netflix gift cards and I thought, “No way, that’s gotta be a scam.” But I was bored, and hey, who doesn’t love free stuff, right? So, I decided to give it a shot, just to see what would happen. I’m documenting everything, step by step, so bear with me.
My Little Experiment Begins
First, I started searching all over the internet. I was basically looking for anything that even hinted at “free Netflix gift cards.” I went through a bunch of those survey sites. You know the ones, where you answer a million questions about your breakfast cereal and they promise you riches? Yeah, those.
I spent, I don’t know, maybe an hour filling out surveys. It was mind-numbing. Stuff about what kind of toothpaste I use, how often I watch TV… seriously boring. But I kept thinking about that potential Netflix binge, so I powered through.
Then, I tried some of those “offer” websites. They make you sign up for free trials, download apps, or watch videos. I downloaded a couple of random game apps, played them for a few minutes (they were terrible, by the way), and watched some incredibly cheesy ads. It felt like I was selling my soul for a few cents, but I was committed at this point.
The Results (or Lack Thereof)
After all that clicking and survey-filling and app-downloading… what did I get? Well, mostly a lot of spam emails. My inbox is now overflowing with offers for things I don’t need and will never use. I did manage to accumulate some points on a couple of those survey sites. I’m going to list here the steps I followed:
- Searched everywhere.
- Filled the surveys.
- Tried offer websites.
- Accumulated some points.
But honestly after calculation I need to spend like 50 more hours on surveys to maybe reach that amount, so, I give up. It is not worth it.
My final verdict? It’s probably not worth the time and effort. I mean, sure, the idea of free Netflix is awesome. But the reality is, you’re going to spend hours doing tedious tasks, and you might not even get anything out of it. You’re better off just paying for your subscription, or maybe sharing an account with a friend (don’t tell Netflix I said that!).
