Watch the Trailer For ‘A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter’

“Guess who’s coming to Netflix,” is the message that pops up in pink lettering before Carpenter first appears in the official trailer. Sassy as always, she jokingly says that “Christmas is coming early this year” and that she “wouldn’t count on a silent night”. In the lead up to the holiday season, the pop star is seen singing to holiday tracks, switching into various costumes, dueting with the likes of Chappell Roan, and sharing the screen with Abbott Elementary‘s lead, Quinta Brunson. The teaser leads us to believe that much like the cheeky remarks featured in Carpenter’s repertoire, she will also bring a dosage of humor to the special. She’s also preparing viewers for a full-package experience, incorporating music and comedy sketches throughout the Netflix original. Although the clip doesn’t reveal which specific songs she will perform or what the sketches will be about, the trailer gives an overview of what audiences can anticipate from the artist as she makes this project uniquely her own.

Who Will Be in ‘A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter’?

As previously mentioned, the variety show will include guest appearances ranging from musicians to Hollywood actors. Carpenter is not only expected to duet with Roan, but she’s also going to perform with Shania Twain, Tyla, and Kali Uchis. As for the skits included in the special, fans will be thrilled to know that aside from Brunson, the Grammy nominee will also act opposite Nico Hiraga, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Owen Thiele, Jillian Bell, and Sean Austin. At the end of the trailer, Astin is dressed up as Santa, so maybe that is an indicator of his role in this production.
