Alright, let’s talk about this Inside Out 2 movie, you know, the one everyone’s yapping about. I went and saw it, and I’m gonna tell ya what I think, no fancy words or nothin’.

First off, some folks were worried it might go against what us Christians believe. You know, all that talk about emotions and such. Well, I didn’t see nothin’ like that. It’s just a story about feelin’s, plain and simple. We all got feelin’s, right? Anger, sadness, joy, all that stuff. It’s just like the movie shows, even us believers feel all them things. And it’s all part of God’s plan, I reckon.

Now, some folks were lookin’ for them alphabet people things in the movie. You know, the L, G, B, T, Q, and all them other letters. I didn’t see nothin’ like that either, not out in the open anyway. The girl in the movie, Riley, she’s just a regular kid, far as I can tell. Nothin’ fancy or strange about her. But then again, I ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed, maybe I missed somethin’. But if it was there, it wasn’t plain as day, you know? It wasn’t like they were shoutin’ it from the rooftops.

The good thing is, this movie ain’t like some of them other ones they make nowadays. You know, the ones that try to push all that “woke” stuff on ya. This one’s just a good, clean story. It’s funny, it’s heartwarming, and it makes you think. It’s about a young girl growing up and dealing with new feelings, which is somethin’ we can all relate to. It reminds me of when my own kids were growin’ up, all them ups and downs. Life’s like that, ain’t it?

They say this movie is a sequel, means they made another one before. I didn’t see that first one, but this one, it stands on its own pretty good. You don’t need to see the other one to understand what’s goin’ on. It’s all about what’s goin’ on inside this girl’s head, all them different emotions talkin’ and carryin’ on. It’s kinda like what happens in my head sometimes, all them thoughts jumpin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Some folks say the movie don’t give credit to God for makin’ us the way we are. Maybe so, maybe not. But just lookin’ at how complicated our minds are, how we can feel so many different things all at once, well, it makes you think there’s somethin’ bigger than us at work. It’s like lookin’ at a beautiful sunrise, you just know somethin’ amazing had to create it.

  • The movie is funny, real funny in some parts. Made me chuckle a few times, and that ain’t easy to do these days.
  • It’s also got a good message, about growin’ up and learnin’ to deal with your feelin’s. That’s somethin’ we all need to do, no matter how old we are.
  • And it’s somethin’ you can watch with the whole family, without worryin’ about anythin’ embarrassing or inappropriate. That’s important, you know? These days, you gotta be careful what you let your kids watch.

So, overall, I’d say Inside Out 2 is a good movie. It ain’t gonna preach to ya, but it ain’t gonna offend ya either. It’s just a nice story about life and feelin’s. And sometimes, that’s all you need. It’s a good way to spend a couple of hours, and it might even make you think a little bit about your own feelin’s, and that ain’t a bad thing.

Now, I ain’t no movie critic or nothin’, just an old woman who likes a good story. And this one, well, it’s a good story. So go see it, or don’t see it, it’s up to you. But if you’re lookin’ for a movie that’s both entertainin’ and meaningful, well, this one might just fit the bill. And that’s all I gotta say about that.

Go see the movie and judge for yourself. Don’t always listen to what other folks say, make up your own mind. That’s what I always say. And remember, God is good, all the time.
