First off, you gotta know where to find these places, right? They got a few scattered around Lake Havasu City. Some are right smack dab in the middle of town, and others are a bit further out. You can usually find ‘em near the main roads, like that Highway 95. Heard tell there’s one up there, building number 1, somethin’ like that. They say you can call ‘em too, at 928-764-2001, if you’re lookin’ for information or what movies are playin’. That’s what I heard, anyways.
Now, I ain’t got no fancy phone with all them maps and such, but folks say you can just look up “movie theaters near 86403” or “movie theaters Lake Havasu City” and they’ll pop right up. Technology these days, I tell ya! It’s a whole different world from when I was young.
Names of the Picture Shows
They got a few different movie houses around here. I’ve heard of Star Cinemas, that one seems pretty popular. Then there’s Movies-Havasu, and Blue Water Cinemas. Oh, and there’s one a bit further out, Laughlin Stadium 9 Cinemas. I reckon they all show them newfangled movies, and probably some old ones too, sometimes. You just gotta check and see what’s playin’.

What Folks Say About Them
Now, I’m not one for readin’ them fancy reviews online, but I hear tell folks write about their experiences at these theaters. They talk about how clean the place is, how comfy the seats are, and how good the popcorn tastes. Some folks even go on about the sound system and the picture quality. Seems like a lot of fuss over a movie, if you ask me, but to each their own.

If you wanna go see a movie, you gotta find out what time it’s playin’ and get yourself a ticket. Used to be you had to go right to the theater and buy a ticket at the window. Now, you can get ‘em online, on your phone, or even at one of them machines at the grocery store, I heard. And they got these websites, like Fandango, where you can look up showtimes and buy tickets all at once. Again with the technology! It’s enough to make your head spin.

Well, that’s about all I know about them movie theaters in Lake Havasu City. We got a few places to choose from, and it seems like folks are mostly happy with ‘em. If you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to do, catchin’ a movie ain’t a bad way to spend an afternoon or evening. Just remember to bring some money for popcorn, ‘cause no movie is complete without it!
