  1. Please skip This Little Women 2018 version, it ruined the classical Book and Drama into Pub beer drinking,
However 1994 and 2019 Definitely watch list but skip This version because director and writer ruined the classical into wild modern unrealistic melodrama. Main character Jo March was not upto expectations
Having said Little Women is one of my favourite one's. The Book, The movie 1994 and Oscar Best picture nominee 2019

  2. I have recently watched this movie on tv.
Absolutely disappointing(not that I ever knew this existed). Over acting, too drama, silly, stupid movie.
Too cringey to watch. I really wanted to hit everyone on the face, especially Sara Davenport (over acting would be a understatement)
TV spare the smash only because it was my parent's.

  3. Anyone knows the piano piece that was playing in the background when Beth was playing the piano after Lorrie's uncle tells her "I think it's time for some Beethoven"? I don't think it's an actual piece by Beethoven, so hopefully anyone here who knows an idea of it can let me know, thanks!

  4. This was painful to watch. The actress who played Jo overreacted a lot.
And instead of scarlet fever Beth gets cancer. And Jo goes bald so Beth wouldn’t have to feel bad about losing her hair. And it’s only just that one scene. There is no proper continuity. The next thing you know she has her long hair again cause they are trying to show that years passed. AND LAURIE iS NOT BLONDE.
And when they show Amy all grown up they made her look really trashy??? Sorry but modern era or not Amy turned out to be a classy young woman and certainly not dressed in tacky blingy clothes.

  5. I wonder how this holds up on an A/B comparison with the '94 and Greta Gerwig/'19 versions. I see all the same story beats. Maybe not the inclusion of part two, with Jo trying to get published in NYC, but a part-one-only adaptation is still faithful to Alcott's original message

God, I wish I had Jo as a mom. Having only read Little Men in its entirety and bits and pieces of Little Women (namely the Christmas bits, meeting Laurie for the first time, and Beth's first bout with scarlet fever), I could tell that Jo was just cool. Jo pursued her passion.

  6. Wait, we had TWO Little Women adaptation in TWO years? I mean, I like the book a lot and really like Gerwig's new version, but give it a break now xD

  7. Can someone tell me why everyone in Hollywood cast the older sisters like they were 20 something and Amy like she was 10 when in reality Jo was 15 and Amy 12 which mean they were 3 years apart. Bye.

  8. This is the worst version and the worst Joe of all the little woman movies, Setting it in the modern world takes away so much from it, The always angry Joe, is very off putting.

  9. I think this story can be adapted into any era. It looks great in our time, and I'd like to see someone one day make it take place in the 1940s. Idk why, but I just would.

  10. i have to say, this movie was terrible. not because of the acting or anything like that but the book is based on a specific time period. i mean the whole reason jo doesn’t want to marry is because (as she says in the book) she’s tired of people thinking “love is all a women is fit for” and she wants to be independent because it’s so rare during that time. there was absolutely no point for her to throw a fit in this movie because she doesn’t want to marry. she’s in no way special because of it. and the casting, come on. the dude from high school musical was not the right person for laurie whatsoever. while i will always love little women (as it was something i grew up on, reading the books binging all the movies with my 3 sisters) i just absolutely hated this movie. now hate is a strong word, but i disliked it so much i have to use that word. the acting was amazing, props to them but the guy who played laurie was….you could tell he couldn’t relate to the role, like at all. i expected a lot more for the 150th anniversary
