Okay, so, I got this idea for a blog post, right? “Horror Movies Starts With I.” Sounds kinda catchy, doesn’t it? I started to watch this movie. Yeah, it is a horror movie which I have never ever watched before.
First, I searched around to see what’s out there. Found out that a bunch of people are into this topic. I mean, who doesn’t love a good scare, right? Especially when it is starting with the letter “I”.
Then, I started listing out all the horror movies I could think of that start with “I.” I used a couple of search engines for this, just typing in “horror movies starts with I” and boom, a whole list popped up. I was thinking it’s the same as other letters, but the first letter really make it specific and different.
I found this one, “It” (2017). I had watched before, but I watched it again for some detail. Classic, right? That clown, Pennywise, man, he’s creepy as hell. I jotted down some notes about the movie, what makes it scary, the whole vibe of it, you know?
Digging Deeper
- Dived into some articles about what makes a horror movie good. Stuff like, it’s not just about the jump scares, but the whole feeling of being creeped out after seeing something messed up. “It” is a good example of this stuff. So I made a note of that.
- Checked out another movie, one based on a Stephen King novel. The movie’s title is “Gerald’s Game”. I watched it, and it’s pretty messed up, not gonna lie. This woman gets handcuffed to a bed, and things just go south from there. It’s more psychological, which is a whole different kind of scary. Stephen King is good at writing these kinds of novels, but some of the movies based on his novels are not good enough. This one is different. I felt a little scared when I watched it. I added some thoughts about that one too.
After all that, I started putting my post together. I wrote about my whole process, from the initial search to watching the movies and what I learned. I kept it real casual, like I’m just chatting with my buddies about this cool idea I had. Not sure when I can post this blog, I will keep the update.
So yeah, that’s the story of my “Horror Movies Starts With I” blog post. It was a fun ride, diving into those movies and figuring out what makes them tick. Hope you guys dig it when it’s up!
