They was all scared of somethin’ outside, somethin’ they couldn’t see. Just like that darn raccoon that kept gettin’ into my trash. I never did see it, but I sure heard it! Kept me up all night, bangin’ and clangin’. This movie, it was kinda like that. Lots of quiet, and then, BAM! Somethin’ jumps out at ya. Made me jump outta my skin, I tell ya!

See, It Comes at Night, it wasn’t just scary, it made ya think. Made ya wonder what you would do if you was in that situation. Would you be able to survive? Would you be able to trust your neighbors? Or would you turn on them, like a cornered animal? Them movies that make you think, make you wonder about what could happen. Make you thankful for what you have.
It’s like that time the well ran dry. We didn’t have no water for a week. Made us realize how much we took it for granted. This movie, It Comes at Night, it’s kinda like that. Makes ya appreciate what ya got, ’cause it could all be gone in a heartbeat.
