Man, you won’t believe what I’ve been up to lately. So, I got really into this show, “Marco Polo,” on Netflix. It’s got everything – action, adventure, and, well, let’s just say it’s not exactly family-friendly, if you know what I mean. Lots of skin, to put it lightly.

I started watching it because I was curious. I mean, who doesn’t love a good historical drama, right? But this one, man, it’s got some scenes that are, uh, pretty intense. I’m talking full-on, explicit stuff. At first, I was like, “Whoa, is this really necessary?” But then I got kinda hooked. It’s like, the story is really good, and the acting is top-notch, especially this Italian guy, Lorenzo Richelmy. He plays Marco Polo, and he’s pretty easy on the eyes, not gonna lie.

My Watching Marathon

  • Started with Season 1: Got sucked in right away. The fight scenes are crazy good, and there’s a ton of drama and scheming.
  • Moved on to Season 2: It’s even wilder than the first. More action, more intrigue, and, yeah, more of those scenes.
  • Got a little distracted: To be honest, some of the scenes are so over-the-top, I had to pause and look away a few times. But I kept coming back for the story. It’s set in the court of Kublai Khan, which is a pretty fascinating time and place.

They filmed this show all over the place, like Italy, Kazakhstan, and even Malaysia. The scenery is amazing. It really makes you feel like you’re there, in the middle of all the action. You can tell they put a lot of money into this show. It’s a shame they canceled it. Apparently, it was too expensive to keep going.

Now, I know some people might think it’s a bit much. But like any kind of adult content, it’s all about what you’re comfortable with. I’m not saying everyone’s gonna love it, but if you’re into epic adventures with a lot of, let’s call it “spice,” then you might dig it.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my latest binge-watching adventure. It’s definitely not for everyone, but I’ve been having a good time with it. It’s a wild ride, that’s for sure. I mean, it’s not exactly “high art” but I think it’s pretty entertaining. The story is good enough to keep you watching, even if you’re not that into the, uh, other stuff. It’s one of those shows that’s just pure entertainment – no big message or anything, just a big, epic story.

You know what I’ve been noticing about these Netflix originals? It seems like they’re all about pushing the boundaries. Like with “House of Cards” and “Orange Is the New Black,” they’re not afraid to show some pretty intense stuff. I guess that’s what makes them stand out, right? They’re not trying to be all safe and boring, they’re going for it.

So, yeah, that’s my story. I watched “Marco Polo” on Netflix, and it was quite the experience. If you decide to check it out, just be prepared for some pretty graphic stuff, is all I’m saying.
