Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s gab a bit about this here… uh… what’s it called? Marvel Legends Netflix Punisher, that’s the ticket! Yep, that plastic fella they made of that fella from the tee-vee.
Now, I ain’t no fancy collector or nothin’. I just see these things at the store sometimes and think, “Well, ain’t that somethin’.” This Punisher fella, he’s got that long coat, like one of them fellas from the city wear when it gets all chilly. And he’s got that skull thingy on his chest. Scary lookin’, but I reckon that’s the point, ain’t it? He’s supposed to be tough, this one. I seen fellas like him on them tee-vee shows my grandkids watch.
They say this toy, or “action figure” as them fancy folks call it, looks just like the fella on the show. I wouldn’t know. I don’t watch much tee-vee myself, too busy keepin’ the chickens out of the garden and what not. But if they say so, I reckon it’s true. They make these things real good these days, you know? Almost lifelike, kinda spooky if you ask me.
- He’s got a coat. A long one.
- And that skull thing. Right there on his chest.
- They say he looks just like the tee-vee fella.
Now, I heard tell some folks are real serious about these toys. They keep ‘em in boxes, never even take ‘em out! Can you believe that? Seems like a waste to me. If I had a toy like that, I’d let the grandkids play with it, have ‘em make up stories and such. But I guess some folks like to keep things nice and neat. To each their own, I always say.
This Punisher fella, he’s from a show, they tell me. A show on that… Netflix thing. My grandkid’s always talkin’ about it. Somethin’ about fellas with superpowers and such. Never could wrap my head around it, all that flyin’ and fightin’. Give me a good western any day. But these young folks, they love that stuff.
I heard this show, the one with Punisher, got cancelled. Ain’t that a shame? Folks liked it, from what I gather. But seems like there was some trouble between the folks who made the show and that Netflix outfit. Big business stuff, I reckon. Always somethin’ with them city fellas and their money.
They say this Punisher fella first showed up on another show, somethin’ called Daredevil. I guess it was a good show too. Maybe I should give it a watch sometime, see what all the fuss is about. But then again, I got so much to do around here, I don’t know when I’d find the time. Maybe when the snow comes and I can’t get out much.
And wouldn’t you know it, some folks are wishin’ they could find this Punisher toy at Walgreens. Now, that’s a store I know! I go there to get my medicines and sometimes a little treat for myself. Seems like a funny place to find a toy like this, but I guess they sell all sorts of things these days. If you’re lookin’ for one, maybe try there. Or that eBay thing. My grandkid buys stuff there all the time.
This toy, this Marvel Legends Punisher, he’s got guns and stuff too. Little plastic ones, of course. Can’t have real guns on a toy, that wouldn’t be safe now, would it? He’s all decked out for fightin’, I guess. That’s what these fellas do on them tee-vee shows, right? Fight and shoot and whatnot. I don’t much care for violence myself, but I reckon it’s just pretend. Just a story.
So, there you have it. My thoughts on this here Punisher fella. He’s a toy, a plastic fella from a tee-vee show. Looks tough, got a long coat and a skull on his chest. Some folks like him a lot, keep him in boxes and such. Me? I’d rather have a good cup of coffee and watch the birds. But hey, to each their own, right? That’s what makes the world go ‘round, I reckon. Different strokes for different folks. And that’s just fine by me.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got to go check on them chickens. Them critters are always gettin’ into mischief. You have a good day now, ya hear?
