Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about this here Monsters University film poster, you know, the one with all them funny-lookin’ creatures on it.

So, this movie, it’s about these two fellas, Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan. Mikey, he’s a little one-eyed fella, always dreamin’ big about bein’ a scarer. A scarer, you ask? Well, it’s like this, they go around scarin’ kids to get energy, or somethin’ like that. Crazy, right? But that’s how it is in their world. And Sully, he’s this big, hairy fella, looks kinda like a big ol’ bear, but blue and purple and whatnot.

  • Mikey, he’s a real go-getter, thinks he knows it all.
  • Sully, he’s got the size and the roar, but maybe not the brains, at least not at first.

Anyways, they both end up at this Monsters University, thinkin’ they’re gonna be the best scarers ever. But things don’t go as planned, you see. They get kicked outta the scarin’ program and gotta join this bunch of misfit monsters. Real underdogs, these guys are.

Now, about that poster. It’s got all them monsters on it, big and small, scary and… well, some of ’em ain’t so scary. You got Mikey front and center, lookin’ all determined. And Sully, he’s right there with him, lookin’ all tough. They got other monsters around ’em too, all part of their group, the Oozma Kappa bunch. They ain’t exactly the cool kids on campus.

The poster, it’s supposed to tell you what the movie’s about, right? So, you see all these monsters, and you know it’s gonna be somethin’ fun and maybe a little bit scary, but not too scary, ya know? It’s a cartoon, after all. My grandkids, they love this kinda stuff. They watch it over and over again. I swear, I’ve seen this poster more times than I’ve seen my own reflection in the well!

The movie, it’s directed by some fella named Dan Scanlon. He’s the one who put it all together, made them monsters come to life. And them voices you hear, that’s Billy Crystal playin’ Mikey and John Goodman playin’ Sully. Good actors, they are. Make them monsters sound real, even though they’re just… well, monsters.

This Monsters University, it’s like a real college, but for monsters. They got fraternities and sororities, just like the kids in them fancy colleges you see on TV. Only these fraternities and sororities are full of monsters with weird names and even weirder looks. I heard tell there’s supposed to be twelve of them clubs, but in the movie, you only see a few. And the place, it looks kinda like that big college out in California, the one with the bears. Berkeley, they call it.

And you know, that Mikey, he ain’t always been a good little monster. Seems like he mighta been in jail before, or somethin’ like that. Got some kinda criminal record, they say. Don’t know what he did, but it musta been somethin’. They talk about him havin’ extra toes, or someone havin’ extra toes, I dunno. It’s all kinda confusing, but that’s how them stories are, I guess. They keep ya guessin’.

They got all sorts of posters for this movie, high-resolution ones, they call ’em. Big pictures, so you can see all the little details. And they got different posters in different countries too. Seems like everybody loves them monsters.

So, if you’re lookin’ for a fun movie to watch with the kids, or even just by yourself if you’re feelin’ a little goofy, this Monsters University, it’s a good one. And that poster, it tells you everything you need to know. It’s about monsters, it’s about college, and it’s about havin’ a good time. Even an old woman like me can appreciate that.

This movie even got one of them Blu-ray Combo Packs, so you can watch it whenever you want. Ain’t technology somethin’? Back in my day, we didn’t have nothin’ like that. We had to go to the picture show, if we wanted to see a movie. And the posters, they were just big ol’ paper things, not all fancy like these ones are.
