Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about some movies, movies like that King of New York flick. You know, the one with all the shootin’ and the bad guys and whatnot.
Now, I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’. I just like what I like, and if it’s got some action and a good story, I’m in. So, if you liked that King fella, maybe you’ll like some of these too. Don’t go expectin’ no highfalutin talk from me, though. I’m just gonna tell it like it is.
First off, there’s this New Jack City movie. Came out around the same time as King, I think. Lots of guns, lots of drugs, lots of bad guys gettin’ what’s comin’ to ’em. It’s a good one, if you like that kinda thing. And who don’t, right?
Then there’s this other one, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. Now, that one’s a bit newer, but it’s got that same kinda energy. Lots of explosions, lots of fightin’, and plenty of laughs too. It ain’t exactly the same, but it’s got that somethin’ special, you know?
- More Action, Less Talk: Some folks like movies that just get right to it. No long speeches, just bang bang bang. If that’s you, then you’ll probably like these kinds of movies.
- Bad Guys and Good Guys: It’s always fun to watch the bad guys get theirs, ain’t it? And it’s even better when the good guys are tough as nails and don’t take no guff.
- A Little Bit of Everything: Sometimes, you want a movie that’s got a little bit of everything. Action, drama, comedy, maybe even a little romance. There’s movies out there like that too, if you know where to look.
Now, some folks, they like them old black and white movies. Like that Citizen Kane fella. I ain’t seen it myself, but I heard it’s real good. A classic, they say. But if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ like King of New York, that ain’t it. Too much talkin’, not enough shootin’, if you ask me.
And then there’s all these places you can watch movies now. Used to be you had to go to the theater, but now you got your Netflix, your Amazon, your Disney Plus. They got all kinds of movies, so you can find somethin’ you like no matter what.
But let me tell you, finding a good movie ain’t always easy. Sometimes you gotta wade through a whole bunch of junk to find the good stuff. That’s why I’m tellin’ you about these movies like King of New York. They’re the real deal, you know? The kind of movies that stick with you long after you’ve seen ’em.
And don’t go forgettin’ about the characters. A good movie needs good characters, people you can root for, or people you love to hate. And these movies, they got plenty of both. Strong women, tough guys, and everything in between.
So, there you have it. A few movies like King of New York. They ain’t all the same, but they got that same kinda feel. Action, drama, and a whole lotta excitement. Go on and watch ’em, and see what you think. And if you don’t like ’em, well, that’s your problem, not mine. I just tell it like it is.

And listen, if you find a movie you really like, don’t be afraid to watch it again and again. I do it all the time. Sometimes you catch somethin’ you missed the first time, sometimes you just enjoy it even more. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that.
