Well, let me tell you somethin’ about that movie theater in Vail Village. That place, it’s somethin’ else. You wanna see a movie? They got movies there. All kinds. Big ones, little ones, loud ones, quiet ones. You name it, they probably got it playin’. And those seats, oh boy! Some folks like sittin’ right up front. Not me, though. I like to sit in the middle. Best place to see the whole dang picture, you know? They say it costs more, but who cares? Gotta treat yourself sometimes.
That Vail Village movie theater, it ain’t like the old days. Remember back when we used to go to the drive-in? This is way fancier. They got them big screens. And the sound? It’s all around ya. Like you’re right there in the movie. Sometimes it’s so loud, it makes my teeth rattle. I gotta plug my ears sometimes. It’s like the whole room’s shakin’.
Now, if you’re goin’ with your sweetheart, you wanna sit close. Real close. You can put your arm around ’em. Share that armrest thingy. Or, if you’re feelin’ real cozy, you can lift that thing up and snuggle right up next to each other. No shame in that. Just don’t make too much noise, them other folks wanna watch the movie, too. I remember some young couples get to carrying on during the movie, we didn’t like that too much.

And the Riverwalk. They even got one called The Eclipse. Sounds fancy, don’t it? And The Foundry, that one’s got a bowling alley, too. Bowl a few frames, then watch a picture show. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon, I reckon. Then there’s the Capitol Theatre and Movieland. Lord, there are a lot of them.
You wanna know what’s playin’? Just look it up. They got it all listed out somewhere. What movies are playin’, what times they’re showin’. It’s all there. Just gotta know where to look. Some website called Fandango, I think. They’ll tell ya everythin’ you need to know. Showtimes, tickets, the whole shebang. They even got new movies comin’ out all the time. Gotta keep up with the times, I guess.
Movies in Vail, they’re a big deal. Lots of folks go to ’em. It’s a good way to get out of the house, do somethin’ different. And that Vail Cinema, it’s somethin’ special. They really know how to do it up right. If you go, you can even see a list of all them other cinemas. Just check on their website or give a call. You can sort the movies by distance or somethin’, or by what other folks liked. It’s all very convenient, this new way of doing things.

And if you’re lucky, you might even see one of them movie stars walkin’ around. You never know who you might run into in that Vail Village. It’s a fancy place, that’s for sure.
