Hey there, honey. You wanna know about movies similar to Letters to Juliet? That old movie, I seen it. It’s about love and all that mushy stuff, right? Well, I tell ya, there’s a whole heap of ’em out there just like it. Lots of lovey-dovey, feel-good movies. You just gotta know where to look.
Now, I ain’t no fancy movie expert, but I seen my share of flicks. And I know what I like. If you liked that Letters to Juliet, with the pretty scenery and the romance, then you’ll probably like a bunch of others, too.
First off, you got your movies with people going to other countries. Just like that Juliet one, you know. Italy and all that. Lots of movies with folks traveling around. Finding themselves, finding love, all that. Like going somewhere new changes everything, suddenly they find love, maybe the love is the new place, maybe not.
- Some people go to Italy, just like in that movie.
- Some go to France. Ooh la la, France!
- Some go other places, like, you know, England or Ireland.
Lots of green fields in those places, I reckon. More green than here, that’s for sure. Then, there’s those where the people find letters, just like that movie.
Movies similar to Letters to Juliet often got old letters. Love letters, mostly. People finding old letters and going on adventures to find the people who wrote ’em. Or maybe they find love themselves along the way. Letters are so old-fashioned, but those old things really make people happy sometimes, and I think that’s good.
- Sometimes the letters are from a soldier.
- Sometimes they’re from a secret admirer.
- Sometimes they’re just from someone who moved away a long time ago.
It’s all very romantic, you know? Makes you think about the old days. When people wrote letters instead of them little phone things. My grandbaby tries to show me how to use one of those, but I can’t make heads or tails of it.

Then you got your movies where people are just fallin’ in love, plain and simple. No letters, no travel, just love. And usually, it’s all happy and sweet, just like that Juliet movie.
- They meet at a coffee shop.
- They bump into each other on the street.
- They’re neighbors and never noticed each other before.
Simple things, really, that you find everywhere. There are also movies about weddings. Movies similar to Letters to Juliet ain’t always about weddings, but lots of lovey-dovey movies are. Big fancy weddings, small weddings, weddings that almost don’t happen. You name it, they made a movie about it.
I like those wedding movies. They’re always so pretty. The dresses, the flowers, the cake. Reminds me of my own wedding, way back when. Course, it wasn’t nothin’ fancy like in those movies. We just got hitched at the courthouse and had a little party at my mama’s house afterward. But it was still special, you know?
And then there’s movies about people finding love again after they lost it. Maybe their husband or wife died, or maybe they just broke up with someone. It’s always sad at first, but then they find someone new and it’s all happy again. Those movies similar to Letters to Juliet are a bit sad, but they usually have a happy ending, so that’s good.
- Sometimes they meet someone new at a support group.
- Sometimes a friend sets them up on a date.
- Sometimes they just meet someone by chance.
It’s nice to see those movies. Gives you hope, you know? Even when things are bad, they can get better. You just gotta keep your chin up and keep on going. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll find love again, too. And if you want to find more love stories, there are a lot out there. And there is this new movie, some say it’s called Smile 2, others say it’s called something else. But people say it’s scary, not like Letters to Juliet. But it’s popular, I guess people like scary movies.

I watched a movie about a girl, a singer, she’s really famous in that movie. But she is having a hard time. And I think that movie is called Smile 2, it has a lot of scary scenes, really scary, don’t watch it if you don’t like those. I don’t like those, to be honest. I like those happy movies, and movies similar to Letters to Juliet.
Anyway, if you liked that Letters to Juliet movie, you’ll probably like a bunch of others, too. Just look for movies with travel, letters, weddings, or just plain old love. There’s plenty of ’em out there. You just gotta find ’em. Maybe check those streaming platform, they have a lot of movies, old and new. I don’t know much about those platforms, but you can always find something there. And people say there are more than 80 movies just like Letters to Juliet, maybe more. Hard to believe there are so many, right?
And you can probably find lists of those movies online. Just type in “movies similar to Letters to Juliet” and you’ll get a whole bunch of ’em. Then you can pick and choose which ones you wanna watch. That’s what I do. Well, my grandbaby does it for me, but you get the idea. Just try to find those movies, and you will be fine. You will find a lot of them if you look hard enough.
